Zacharius Posted August 9, 2022 Report Share Posted August 9, 2022 Your best bet is to use a taxi to get in between Pan American Pier and one of two areas - (a) Old San Juan, which is filled with restaurants, bars, history, sites...not so many beaches, and (b) the Condado area of San Juan, which has more resort-type hotels and beaches. We have Hilton points so we've stayed at Embassy Suites near the airport & walking distance to a beach, Condado Plaza Hilton & most recently Caribe Hilton. Its a little further away than other areas mentioned but really nice. I will second this hotel as a choice. We have stayed at the Isla Verde Courtyard by Marriott for both of our San Juan cruises. Right on the beach, a complimentary "welcome" cocktail, and pretty much every room has at least a partial oceanview. tjcruisers Posted August 9, 2022 Report Share Posted August 9, 2022 We stayed at the Condado Plaza Hilton on our cruise out of there. Pretty nice hotel from what I remember.
