Love6grands
We are considering taking our 5 year old very active grandson on a cruise. It will be his first (and ours). Friends like Royal Caribbean. Please share opinions for a 3 day cruise going to CocoCay. Thanks!!!! WAAAYTOOO
AshleyDillo
CocoCay has a large Splashaway Bay which is a completely free area that kids love. There's also Captain Jill's Galleon which is also free that's a big pirate ship for them to climb in. Then there's also of course a huge pool. Food is free on the island including snack shacks with funnel cakes. I wouldn't recommend paying for the water park for the kids that age when there's so much free to enjoy! Our son was young when we visited the original Coco Cay (only free stuff then), and he had a great time at the beach.

wordell1
I honestly can't imagine a better place to bring a child of that age. Pooch and PPPJJ-GCVAB
PPPJJ-GCVAB
I think it is the perfect vacation for an active 5 yr old! The island is an absolute water playground for kids and when not there the ship itself has the adventure kids club to keep him busy during certain times of the day…and night!
