6. Can I book back-to-back cruises at this time?

Yep! We welcome guests to cruise on as many back-to-back cruises as they wish, including kids of any vaccination status. The travel requirements and health protocols are the same as a single cruise, and back-to- back cruisers will need to meet all those requirements. For subsequent cruises, the "pre-cruise test" requirement is fulfilled by a test between cruises. All guests 2 years of age and older, regardless of vaccination status, are required to take a COVID-19 test producing negative results between each sailing. This test will be arranged by Royal Caribbean at no expense to the guest, as long as your consecutive cruises are less than 3 days apart. Visit Guest Services while onboard to arrange this test ahead of your next cruise. We will continue to evaluate this policy as public health guidance evolves.

Easy procedure. I get a letter in my cabin usually mid-cruise with a QR code. Scanning it will open the page where I register for my complimentary Covid antigen test. Info includes name, email, cabin number and passport number. Once registered, it will generate a QR code that I save and use that when I enter for the test. But don’t worry…even if you can’t register due to a WiFi or phone glitch, they’ll do it when you show up for your test. So far, for me…tests were given in conference rooms and dining rooms…early on the last full day of the cruise. In and out in minutes. Results are emailed back to me within a few hours. No need to print them out as I didn’t need to show it during turnaround day. They already knew I was negative. I’ve done this procedure on the Anthem and the Wonder. I don’t know if it’s different elsewhere…or if protocols will change. Just keep checking the website. Enjoy your back-to-back!

Thank you for the detailed explanation. This will be our first back-to-back and I'm looking forward to comparing with just a single cruise. Trying to save money on driving, motel, etc. It's a real drag, too, when you have to drive 10 hrs just to get to the port.

Agreed - we have to fly and often book back-to-back. It's one plane ticket, one "night before" hotel and the only cost incurred other than the second cruise is additional days boarding the dogs.  Depending on how much the plane tickets are, it's totally worth it if I can convince my boss to approve the time off 🙂

Or retire so no extra time off request needed 🙂   The extra cost to board our dogs is less than the extra round trip air fare, extra night at a hotel plus dinner the night before the cruise.

I'm with you on that one...DH just retired and we are doing our 1st B2B in just 10 days. And since we no longer have to worry about getting extra time off, may even consider a B2B2B, if they can offer a good deal!! 🎉🎉
