14Terry Posted March 26, 2022 Report Posted March 26, 2022 Hello! Has anyone ever done this excursion in Falmouth, offered by Royal Caribbean. Thank you, in advance, for your replies/feedback. Quote
14Terry Posted April 11, 2022 Author Report Posted April 11, 2022 After a lot of research, I booked this excursion today. I hope to return after our cruise and post how it went. Happy cruising everyone! WAAAYTOOO, PPPJJ-GCVAB and KristiZ 3 Quote
Micheleyd Posted April 15, 2022 Report Posted April 15, 2022 I did this excursion from a resort when I stayed in Negril a few years ago. We really enjoyed the experience such beautiful scenery. Quote
14Terry Posted May 11, 2022 Author Report Posted May 11, 2022 We did this today. We were picked up at the staging area and went by bus for a short ride to the starting point. There were clean bathrooms there and a place to purchase drinks for the ride. It takes about 90 minutes to complete the trip and you might even get a chance to steer the raft. We were given life jackets and could take them off after a spell. Always felt safe from the time we were picked up until dropped off back at the ship. A “thrill” ride it is not. But if you’re looking for a quiet, peaceful, ride down the Martha Brae river, this is great! My wife and I were on the first raft. There were 2 ships in port and a lot of people on this excursion. I certainly would do it again and highly recommend it. Dan Curtis, WAAAYTOOO, cwb and 1 other 2 2 Quote
Janelle H Posted September 2, 2024 Report Posted September 2, 2024 Do you think it would be OK to bring our 4 year old on? or is it more for adults? Quote

If the 4 year old can sit still for the entire ride, it will not be an issue. If they get squirmy and want to move around…they can actually get hurt as their feet can go through the gap between the bamboo poles and get stuck or cut up if they don’t step correctly. Our guide showed us a scar on his leg from this happening to him when he was new. PPPJJ-GCVAB 1 Quote

Lovetotravel100788 Posted March 22 Report Posted March 22 Really wanting to try out the rafting experience but cannot seem to find anywhere information on if they provide the transportation to the rafting area or if that is something we would need to find on our own. Any insight is helpful. Thank you! Quote
