Lone Star Posted December 13, 2021 Report Posted December 13, 2021 We have a family cruise set for next week (12/20/2021) on Adventure of the Seas from Galveston. One daughter in law’s passport has her maiden name while her vax card has her married name. Her and my son are booked under his last name. How much of a problem is this and what’s the quickest and simplest path to make sure we don’t encounter? Thanks in advance for any help cleaning this up! Quote
AshleyDillo Posted December 13, 2021 Report Posted December 13, 2021 Bring the chain of documents that connects her names, i.e. the marriage certificate. Quote
The Fox Posted December 13, 2021 Report Posted December 13, 2021 (edited) I can attest to this. My granddaughter was adopted and her birth certificate and driver's license were in her new name, but her insurance never got changed, so her vaccination record was in her birth name. We brought BC, DL, vaccine record and adoption papers. It all went like a breeze. We did, however, call RC and have them put a note on her reservation. MikeK Posted December 13, 2021 Report Posted December 13, 2021 Also make sure the chain of documents (marriage certificate) is a copy from courthouse or county clerks office that will have an official stamp on the document. WAAAYTOOO and The Fox 2 Quote
Vancity Cruiser Posted December 13, 2021 Report Posted December 13, 2021 My wife has the same thing and had no problems. She did bring marriage certificate and stuff along but never actually had to produce it. I would recommend bringing it though as it’s better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it.
