AndrewPunch Posted December 7, 2021 Report Posted December 7, 2021 Don't know if anyone has posted this but I found it interesting. You can see what status a cruise ship is as far as COVID is concerned. https://www.cdc.gov/quarantine/cruise/cruise-ship-color-status.html CruisingOz 1 Quote
Matt Posted December 7, 2021 Report Posted December 7, 2021 In my opinion, that page is meaningless. What I mean by that is the color coding really doesn't mean anything, because it's unclear what the different statuses mean in plain English. It's updated only once a week, and there have been situations where we know there was a case onboard and nothing changed on the chart, and vice versa. While the CDC does maintain it, I don't think there's any value in checking that page personally. CruisingOz 1 Quote
smokeybandit Posted December 7, 2021 Report Posted December 7, 2021 The color coding was a good thought very early on, but truly is meaningless now. OK so there were covid cases found on the last cruise, so what? That doesn't at all affect the next cruise. CruisingOz 1 Quote
DunkelBierJay Posted December 7, 2021 Report Posted December 7, 2021 This is like the local covid stats for my area...they only update it every 7-10 days now. It used to be at 2pm every day like clockwork. Personally, I like this, because the govt is probably obsessing about something else now. Quote
cruisellama Posted December 7, 2021 Report Posted December 7, 2021 Effectivity date is not annotated, so I can't tell timeframe for the grades. Probably outdated. Quote
