Angela508
My daughter tested positive for COVID on 11/30. We are sailing on 12/26. Our nurse said you can test positive for COVID up to 3months after you have it. If she takes the test 2 days before our cruise and tests positive bc it’s still showing up after a month can she still go on the cruise? If we have the dates positive COVID results can she be exempt from having to test before the cruise? twangster
I don't think anyone who tests positive 2 days before a cruise can embark. Period. It doesn't matter if they are fully vaxxed, or half vaxxed or unvaxxed or previously infected. A positive test result equals no embarkation. This will certainly be a “no go”. If your daughter is 12 or older maybe take the antigen test & not the PCR test. smokeybandit
The PCR test is the one that can give you a positive long after you actually were positive. Stick with the antigen and you'll be fine.
