Yes !  Different ships can have varying rules, however.  A number of years ago I was on a ship (can’t remember which one) and they told me that we had to pay the cover charge in order to get the “free” milkshake.  I’m pretty sure the rules have standardized since then but you still might get different answers on different ships.  It’s supposed to be included though.

Thank you, how are you & Dan doing?

We are doing great !  We have contractors in the house for 7 straight days (except for Sunday, of course) finishing up most of the post construction upgrades so we're a bit displaced (they did the office Monday and yesterday.  We are relegated to the dining room with our temp office)  The only big thing left after they finish the built-ins will be the bird cage and the emergency generator.  Life in FL is blissful.  Only bad news is we had to cancel our B2B on Allure for Thanksgiving which completely sucks but other than that, we are doing great.  Thanks for asking !!!

How 'bout you guys ?  Is it getting cold yet ?  We have the sliders open today.  It's absolutely beautiful here.  Sorry...didn't mean to rub it in.  😇

Yeah sure!  It’s wet rainy & raw here.  But up until Sunday, the weather has been beautiful.  I got sucked back into work for a couple of months and it’s awful.  Remind me to say no next time!

They really are weird with their policies.  We had the same experience that WAAAYTOO had. WE got them included aboard Oasis then jumped off and got on Allure same day.  We were charged for the milkshakes on Allure. I went to guest services but to no avail.

I am shocked that RCL is not more uniform ship to ship.

I'm really confused - I have the refreshment package for my next cruise and it clearly states that Johnny Rockets milkshakes are included. But you're saying that they'll charge you for them anyway? Or they'll charge you a cover charge to get a milkshake? Can you get just a milkshake to go? How are they included in the package if I'm getting charged for it? Mostly I need to know what to tell my teens if they go on their own to get milkshakes.

The Johnny Rockets dine-in locations sometimes wouldn't let people grab to-go shakes. They insisted you dine in order to have access to the shakes, even though the shakes aren't covered with the cover charge or the dining package anyways.  I've noticed since they've included the milkshakes specifically in the description of the Refreshment Package, I'm not seeing many accounts of folks being denied. I know personally on Independence of the Seas there was line-up at the host stand for people who were coming just to order shakes.
