Jeff Posted August 1, 2016 Report Posted August 1, 2016 this should be a quick question, so i will defer to the knowlege of the masses...... can i get a labadoozie on the ship? Quote
KLA Posted August 1, 2016 Report Posted August 1, 2016 I don't see why not? :) If not, ask for a Coco Loco :p Jeff 1 Quote
monorailmedic Posted August 1, 2016 Report Posted August 1, 2016 While I haven't tried, Matt has said it hasn't been an issue. A Labadoozie is the same as a Coco Loco, so Kayla's rationale is sound in that as long as the bartender knows how to make one of those, and has the ingredients, you should be good. Jeff Posted August 1, 2016 Author Report Posted August 1, 2016 I'll have to ask then. thank you both for the info. Listening to Matt talk about them, I really want to try one, even though I'm not going to Labadee. Quote
DDemuth Posted August 1, 2016 Report Posted August 1, 2016 OK, a dumb question... What is a Labadoozie (Coco Loco)? A rum drink, I presume, but ingredients? Jeff 1 Quote
monorailmedic Posted August 1, 2016 Report Posted August 1, 2016 OK, a dumb question... What is a Labadoozie (Coco Loco)? A rum drink, I presume, but ingredients? The Labadoozie is indeed the signature drink in Labadee (known as the Coco Loco on Coco Cay). More information can be found at the link below. It's not a bad tropical drink, though I'll have to admit, that for my money, the Conch Cooler, the signature drink on Disney's Castawy Cay, is actually better. I'll concuct both this weekend, side by side...for resarch...again. http://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/2013/07/15/royal-caribbean-classic-labadoozie gina_e123 and Jeff 2 Quote
Jeff Posted August 1, 2016 Author Report Posted August 1, 2016 let me know how your research goes Quote
ericreev Posted August 2, 2016 Report Posted August 2, 2016 The secret to enjoying a Labadoozie for someone that isn't sure whether they will like it or not, is to try one. Then, immediately repeat the process. After the second one you will be enjoying yourself whether you like rum cocktails or not. Eric Wilson, MotleyCruiser, WAAAYTOOO and 2 others 5 Quote
DocLC Posted August 9, 2016 Report Posted August 9, 2016 You can get them on any ship regardless of the itinerary. I've done it and have not yet been to Labadee. Jeff and KLA 2 Quote
