cemushr Posted November 23, 2019 Report Posted November 23, 2019 We were fortunate to have been selected to sail on one of the inaugural sailings of Norwegian Encore, and we had a stop at Great Stirrup Cay. Since we were tendered about a mile away from Coco Cay, we were able to get a few neat shots. Some sites showed Grandeur and Anthem scheduled to be at Coco Cay on the 19th, but I can't place she ship at sunset...while I haven't yet sailed on a Quantum Class, I think it looks like there might be a Sky Pad aft (and I don't see the North Star). Mariner or Indy, possibly? foxrunner, bhageerah, RCIfan1912 and 5 others 7 1 Quote
RCIfan1912 Posted November 23, 2019 Report Posted November 23, 2019 Wow awesome shots, really cool to share this. How is Encore because it looks beautiful? Is it just Breakaway on steroids? Quote
RCVoyager Posted November 23, 2019 Report Posted November 23, 2019 Really cool pix. Thanks for sharing. CoCo Cay is not a big place. Quote
bhageerah Posted November 23, 2019 Report Posted November 23, 2019 Great pictures!! I just wish that I was sitting on that island at the moment rather than being here along the east coast in cold, rainy weather!! Thanks for sharing! Quote
JohnK6404 Posted November 23, 2019 Report Posted November 23, 2019 Here are some nice Google Earth shots for a different perspective... both islands... Just Coco Cay... and that's an Oasis class ship! Makes the island look small! Baked Alaska 1 Quote
CSki Posted November 24, 2019 Report Posted November 24, 2019 It was Mariner and Majesty at Coco Cay on Tuesday. We (Mariner) were swapped with another ship that had bad weather somewhere else and wasn't going to make it there in time so they could take our Thursday spot. We saw your gorgeous brand-new ship out there and were fan-girling. It looked so nice lit up when we sailed by! Hope you had a great cruise! RCVoyager and cemushr 1 1 Quote

That explains it...thanks for letting us know which ships those were. As for Encore, it really was a beautiful ship! Even though we had been on one of her sister ships (Escape), three days was not enough to explore everything. Quote
