  1. Right there with you @Melodyjn. We did a cruise in September (first in over 10 years for each of us) which we spontaneously booked the night before (after debating for a couple weeks), and then we booked another for November a few weeks later. Had a blast and have been scoping out our next one since the day we got off the ship haha.
  2. Experienced this (sort of) last week. Only one of the two main pools on Mariner were open. One was half full with the net over it. But Solarium and all the hot tubs were open, and plenty of room on the pool deck.
  3. Drivers License and Seapass was fine last week. Don't think they even asked to look at my ID. The Cruise Compass will tell you what you need.
  4. The Chilla Thrilla was delicious. Now if only they'd serve some Funky Buddha on the ship. They were out of every craft beer I tried to order on board.
  5. Just off Mariner, and dress was not enforced in the main dining room at all. On "Dress Your Best" night, adult men were being let in wearing tshirts, sloppy cargo shorts and flip flops. I would say more than half the dining room was not participating in any sort of formality. It was kind of a bummer honestly, because I was looking forward to it, and felt like my feet could've done without the 4 inch heels after all the stair climbing and dancing I did that night.
  6. My first stop on Mariner was Café Promenade. But the sandwich selection that particular day was not up my alley. The pizza that had just come out didn't look that appetizing with all the toppings on it and the crew member accidentally ripped it in half and dumped most of the cheese off it, so we passed and went to windjammer instead. (side note the pizza was great the other times we ate there, there just wasn't any cheese pizza available at the time on the first day). It was pretty busy but not overcrowded imo and it was about 11:45.
  7. My thoughts exactly when I got on the scale this morning. My stair pact didn't help burn many of those calories I guess.
  8. Mariner only had two outlets at the desk area. There are unfortunately still none in the lamps by the beds like I had seen on NCL Sun a few months ago.
  9. It was Mariner and Majesty at Coco Cay on Tuesday. We (Mariner) were swapped with another ship that had bad weather somewhere else and wasn't going to make it there in time so they could take our Thursday spot. We saw your gorgeous brand-new ship out there and were fan-girling. It looked so nice lit up when we sailed by! Hope you had a great cruise!
  10. Just off Mariner yesterday, signage all still said 16+. Never saw any kids in the pool but there were frequently kids on the daybeds with their adults.
