  1. Cafe Promenade on Symphony had the adult coffees. IIRC they had a set menu of drinks so probably had a limited amount of liquor choices just for that. I remember Bailey's Irish Cream. Sorry I didn't take a menu picture.
  2. @Lovetocruise2002 try out John's Pizza on 44th st. We recommended it to @hayley_bopp recently and she liked it. Biggest bar in a pizza place you have ever seen.
  3. And Quantum class like Anthem also I think.
  4. Welcome @JennyJenny. Some hooks are better than others. Keep in mind that the weights listed are for putting them on the ceiling. Hanging on the wall holds less. These are the ones we used and they worked great:
  5. Welcome to the forum. Yes they do. Although they used to do it every night, now it is usually every other night or sometimes less. Check out the live blog section...lots of pictures there.
  6. It all perspective and expectations. No mental anguish here, just the thought of a pleasant surprise if it actually comes to fruition.
  7. We were on the same Symphony sailing and had absolutely no problem with staff. They all seemed to know the Key program. It is unfortunate you ran into some that were not informed. Did you take advantage of the departure breakfast? It was one of the best meals of the week!
  8. And it's not just "please". I can't even count how many times we've held a door open for someone (or 2 or a whole family) and don't get a thank you. Sometimes I yell out "YOU'RE WELCOME!".
  9. So is spaghetti bolognese and it really was not that good. Then again I get my Italian wife's cooking. Instead of the pizza/bagel controversy, maybe we should start a sauce/gravy thread. I've been losing the "gravy is brown" argument for decades now. Okay, another thread hijack...I apologize.
  10. Symphony Symphony Symphony Of course, we haven't been on any other Oasis class ship, but we so loved Symphony! Thanks for the update and we are really happy for you guys! Guess your friends will have to pay more to join you now ?
  11. Welcome to the forum. Sale prices can sometimes get as low as the mid $40's USD. But keep in mind that you can purchase the package at any price you feel comfortable with and if it goes lower, you can cancel your purchase and re-buy it at the lower price. They'll charge you right away and your credit will come in few days. As @rtread said, keep checking your cruise planner, but Black Friday IS usually the best deal. Happy sailing.
  12. Did you run into this guy? Seriously, he's been a staple in NYC for many years. Sings and takes pictures with you for a donation. Goes by the name Naked Cowboy. We've even seen him on some warmer winter days. He's actually a pretty interesting guy to talk to. Although your girls may have been a little freaked out. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Naked_Cowboy
  13. They were supposed to be, but their cruises were cancelled.
  14. Good luck. Keep us posted....and the thread hijack continues..sorry!
  15. Just wondering why your TA hasn't contacted you about the cancellation. Unless they didn't hear from Royal yet????
  16. John, didn't JUST book that a week ago? This is amazing.
  17. But now we'll pay more for the margaritas that go with the salt.
  18. So let them call (or their TA) and book it, knowing that they'll get something when it's cancelled. Hey, let's all call and book it....they're busy doing cancellation letters anyway, right??
  19. @JohnK6404, if they do cancel your cruise, tell them you want an $18/day deluxe drink package for your entire party as compensation!?
  20. And you're surprised? Just kidding. Your best bet to double check this is to Facebook Messager them. As we talked about before, that group is great and usually very accurate. oops-despite the drink package message information they may have given.
