I would love to but most of them are when I can't go. The exception is Anthem GC but I'm sailing Symphony two weeks after that. @Matt I need a GC for July/August 2020 lol

From what I know, the weather is pretty unpredictable when sailing out of NJ. @twangster will have more insight on that, he recently sailed the 12 night on Anthem to the southern Caribbean. On Anthem, you seem to be able to make reservations online through your cruise planner. On Oasis class ships, you cannot. Keep an eye out, it will show up in your cruise planner under Dining. For us, it was there at about 170 days out but when I tried to book it wouldn't allow me to. Then, it disappeared completely as an option. A few weeks later, it came back again and I was able to book all 8 nights. I have heard that some people have trouble getting into CK on OA class while staying in a JS. However, I have heard no such complaints about Anthem. You will love CK. Whenever we have access to it, we skip the MDR. The last few cruises, we have booked suites just so we have access to CK. That's how much we like it. Currently, @JLMoran is watching his cruise planner for booking CK. He sails in October so keep an eye out for his posts to give you a better timeline.

A "good" travel agent should not be charging you hidden/extra fees outside of the ones imposed by the cruise line. I would hesitate to book with any agent charging me extra.

This is exactly why I am experimenting in July. I got my YC suite for less than the cost of a JS on OA class!

That is the week of spring break in Ontario, Canada. That is why I can go. That sailing also offered kids sail free last month. However, I always sail when there are a lot of kids since I teach and I can only go during breaks and holidays. I can honestly say that it never really feels like there are kids everywhere. Especially not on Oasis class. The one and only time I felt that was on Anthem in March.

Great tip! That's actually the show that the kids are looking forward to the most. They are trying to wrap their heads around the fact they they can skate on board lol. Uh oh....pressure lol.... I will try to find out everything I can for whoever wants to know but I will be leaving the awesome photos for @twangster since I have no business being around a camera. Pardon the "newbie" question lol...it's been a really long time since I've sailed Voyager class and I just logged into my cruise planner today to make MTD reservations and noticed that there I no show reservations. This is for August 2018. I vaguely remember reading from @twangster's blog that reservations are not needed for shows? But do you have to get tickets? Or do you just show up a bit early to get seats?

I personally think it is great the RC is following the competition. The pool on the suite sun deck has been long awaited.

I know you said $75 but was that charged per person (totaling $75) or was the $75 a flat rate?

Plus a pool on the suite sundeck just like in the Yacht Club on Seaside.

Following...I was just starting to look at flight for MIA or FLL for August. Last time I flew to/out of MIA was in 2003 for a Carnival cruise. The Carnival experience was so bad I completely blocked it from my memory! I don't even remember MIA or what it's even like there.

That was happening for our cruise August 2017.
