  1. You beat me to it! I was just going to say that I need one of those next time...
  2. We went with the late dining time as well. Many of those excursions are really long days. By the time you get back, you don't want to rush to dinner. The late time gives you enough time to snack in the WJ, relax, shower, and then enjoy dinner....this is all assuming you don't have young children.
  3. Great news all around @alamode123!!! We are still rooting for you that you get your original price back. The revitalized Mariner looks great from all the photos and videos that I've seen. I'm sailing her mid-August and @twangster is sailing in September so look for live blogs in the live blog section. Feel free to ask anything and we will do our best to find out for you! Your girls will come around...they always do ?
  4. I would love to...need to find a way to make it happen....but it's not looking good ?
  5. I know I am repeating myself but I'm going to say it one more time...look into the Seaside/Seaview. Reviews have improved significantly since they first sailed, they cater to Europeans, they are most like OA class ships. Like @twangster said, a cruise does not have to be perfect. Most are better than sitting at home. I love Royal but I am sailing the Seaside in 3 days because we were in the exact same situation for this July. With Symphony still in Europe, there was not a RC ship that appealed to us. Sometimes you have to broaden your horizons and let go of some hang ups and you might be pleasantly surprised. ?
  6. Me! PCD is awful! Lol. I always make sure I have the next one to look forward to and start researching for it. And like @twangster said, live vicariously through blogs and scopes.
  7. Oh no...sorry...I was hoping this could be your "out"....
  8. Hahaha! See @Skid, I am not the only one! ? Must be a Canadian/UK thing lol
  9. I would count that as a RC wonky IT fluke. I've noticed that discrepancy before on many sailings that I check.
  10. @alamode123 This post has prompted me to look back at something a I saw a month ago. I had to look around for it as I could not remember where I saw it. Credit goes to a RCBlog Insider who posted the original photo. Anyway, sorry for the delayed reply but an Oasis sailing for next year was cancelled back in June. This was the message that was sent out: Notice where is says "Your original stateroom category will be price protected". I remember thinking at the time that was quite reasonable and fair. Maybe this could be your point of argument right here. If they can do it for one cancelled sailing, maybe they could do it for yours too if you bring it the the right person's attention. Again, sorry for being late on this post. It was a busy morning....
  11. There's still room on the Mariner sailing! I am not too proud to bribe you with stories ?
  12. I totally want to go too!! I priced out 2 interior cabins and it's $5000! We paid less than that for the JS on Anthem in March.
  13. But if you re-booked with RC then they will reimburse you for the flight changes.
  14. Same. We loved it! Would not hesitate to watch it again. Try not to miss it!
  15. Did you price out the one on Indy that I mentioned above? We were booked on that one (but I have cancelled it) and it was a good price for 5 nights. It leaves a day earlier though. Not sure if that works for you.
  16. How about a 6 night on Adventure? Prices were decent for that sailing about a month ago. I haven't looked since. It leaves the same day (on the 10th) but out of FLL.
  17. Cows & me...really bad news, one of the worst experiences of my life! There's a story to that....?
  18. I thought we were talking about cows and wildlife? ? @bellemiche won't care. She is use to people going off the rails ?
  19. On the notice by @Matt, it says they will reimburse any airline change fees if you re-book another. Have you considered the 5 night sailing for that same week on Independence of the Seas?
  20. Oops..my bad. I had the wrong ship in mind. However, like @twangster said, that week in spring break in Ontario, Texas, and parts of Florida (according to people in my FB group for my own March 10 sailing). Combine that with Kids Sail Free (that sail date qualifies) all that makes it a popular sailing. So, in answer to your original question, yes, it will probably be packed. But many ships sail full these days.....
  21. Is this the sailing out of San Juan to the ABC islands? Because, if so, that sailing has been very popular. The only reason why I know this is because my friends were looking at this sailing a few months ago and it was almost sold out then already. It was a great price too.
  22. Nope. I'm good with those. They can't chase me.
  23. OMG...you did not tell me there was wildlife out of nowhere! I don't even like dogs and cats! Cows are even worse ?
  24. This one is going to be a tough sell because of the Symphony booking...
  25. Last year they ran it in the fall, and then from Jan-march of this year....still trying to find a way to book that Anthem GC
