  1. If it shows up online and says it is "unavailable" when you click on it, it usually means that it is available. Call them.
  2. I will echo what others have said in that it is a really subjective question. Would I personally pay $1000 for the 1BDR ATS over the loft? No way. I love the exclusivity of the Deck 17 and unless it's a trade for the A1 or A2, I would not give up Deck 17. Truth be told, the ATS feels cramped to me compared to the lofts. Even the A1 and A2s. They lack the "Wow" factor of the loft and the two levels really open up the space even if the room is narrow. If you book those rooms, you are getting them for the balcony really. Just my honest opinion. Mobility wise, are stairs potentially going to a problem for you? I remember a few conversations with others who have said that they had to sleep downstairs because they could not handle the stairs well in the loft. But the trek to the ATS is long as well. Are you more of balcony person? Because the balcony in the loft does not compare the the ATS balcony, even if you were in the smallest ATS, I would think there is more space than the loft balcony.
  3. It looks like this...the gentle bath soap has now recently been replaced with L'Occitane brand bar soap. I still bring my own products.
  4. I'm on that sailing and I noticed that the sailing "sold out" a few weeks ago. Meaning, it doesn't even show up anymore if you want to do a mock booking. However, the same thing happened with our Anthem sailing last week and people were still getting bids accepted right up until the last minute. You never know. With Royal there is not much rhyme or reason lol.
  5. Hey Ken! I did not even realize that you are on the message boards! Thanks for reading the live blog ? Totally agree! One day @Michael Vitale, his wife, a few others, and I were in the Diamond Lounge watching @Matt do FB live. Even when sailing with him, we tune in. Totally devoted lol.
  6. @betatke1480 and I are happy to have “Mom & Dad” on this one ? Speaking of @betatke1480...I love the new addition to your signature...might be borrowing this too! ?
  7. I can't give you any insight yet, but I will be on her on the 27th of this month. I will be blogging in the live blog section as well so if you want me to check on anything for you, let me know.
  8. I won’t need to steal your Genie this time ? Can’t wait to sail with you guys again!
  9. Anything Oasis class! For now, Harmony is my favourite. Soon to be replaced by Symphony likely. For our family, the bigger the better. More amenities, more activities, better entertainment. In addition, OA class has my 2 favourite venues: Central Park, and the Boardwalk/Aqua Theater.
  10. I'm counting on it! And I already told Hubby that we are taking the stairs everywhere to look at all the stair art.
  11. Hi all! Just a friendly reminder that in order for me to add you to the Master Member Cruise List, I am going to need 3 pieces of info from you: 1. Your handle (that one is easy) 2. Sail date (including the year) 3. Ship name If I gave you a reaction on your post, that means I recorded it. If I did not give you a reaction, that means that you are missing something and it was not recorded. Thanks!
  12. Just going to leave this here ? https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/boards/index.php?/topic/14060-allure-03142021/
  13. You know that just made my day! And keep an eye out because I bet some of those SC suites will open back up. It is early still. I will look for you too. @tiny260 look who's coming!
  14. Wow! That's why this is a great place to be! You learn something new all the time! Thanks!
  15. Done. https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/boards/index.php?/topic/14060-allure-03142021/
  16. Don't go disappointing me twice! ? You have many friends in high places...like Deck 17 high lol
  17. Are these pre-cruise hotel packages only for European sailings? Where do you access that info? Or is it only for TAs to access?
  18. We are most definitely ship people. We've been fortunate enough to have taken enough cruises that we have been around to most of the Caribbean ports. When we went Star Class, we only got off at Labadee as we wanted to take advantage of as many Star Class benefits as possible. I am also of the mindset (although I know that I am in the minority here) that I do not want to pay extra for food and drinks at a land resort/beach when I already have lots of food/drinks on board. Like you, we are not really beach people either so that makes the decision to stay on board easier. The ship does empty out quite a bit on port days. My kids look forward to those days to take advantage of a less congested pool deck and pool. I don't think that you will regret staying on board as long as you know what you are in for. I recommend doing your research, make sure that there is nothing that interests you at the ports you visit that you really would want to do, then you won't feel like you are missing out.
  19. I'll go first...Going! The usual crew, Hubby and two kids. D12 & D14 by then.
  20. Hi everyone! As per the wise @twangster's advice, going to start a thread here. Hopefully we can use this thread as roll call so that we know who is going. I'm thinking that was we get closer to the date, we can find a better way to chat and communicate our plans. But this thread will serve as a good way to know who is in. When I booked this sailing upon release back in December 2018, I never thought it would turn into a sailing with friends. I was so happy when I found out last week a few others also booked this sailing without knowing and beyond excited that many others are now joining in! Just to be clear, this is not a Royal Caribbean Blog Group Cruise, it is simply a cruise with great friends who are in this community. Still hoping that @Matt will join us though ?
  21. I wondered that too.... YOLO! Unofficial GC #allure03/14/21 ?
