  1. Is that a version of a margarita? If so, I need to it too!
  2. I also forgot the World dessert from Wonderland. I know that is already on your radar but I will go back and edit anyway.
  3. This is my experience with the Red Velvet Cakes...awful on the ship except for the one in Chops. I have pics in my blog from last March.
  4. Here are my favourites: Drinks: Cucumber Martini (now known as the Garden martini from 150 CP), Lavender Tonic (Chops, Trellis Bar, or Schooner Bar), She's a Geisah (Izumi), Lemon Drop Martini, and any Margarita involving Patron. Food: CK: Night 1: Must try the Filet Mignon! Best on on the ship IMO (better than specialty), Pork Belly (can be better than 150 CP and way better than Giovanni's). Night 2: Valrhona Chocolate Bar. Night 3: Grilled Tofu and Braised Beef Gnocchi (this dish is perfect!). Night 5 or 6: Braised Short Rib, Chocolate Crunch Bar, Baked Alaska, Coconut Tapioca. Night 7: Cauliflower Fried Rice (under rated but amazing!) 150 CP: Lobster Thermidor, Fried Cheesecake Chops: Seafood Tower, Mushroom Soup, Broiled Main Lobster, Red Velvet Cake Izumi: Spicy Crispy Shrimp Roll, Udon and Ramen Noodles Jamie's: Truffle Tagliatelle (this is the mushroom fettuccine that you heard about), Arancini, Lemon Meringue Cheesecake Wonderland: The World dessert Disclaimer...Not sure which ship you are sailing but I have yet to try Portside BBQ, Playmakers, and Hooked. Now that I've thought about all of this, I am really hungry. I will have to forward this list to my Genie in a few weeks! lol
  5. All ships have a few cabins that can accommodate more than 4. However, your best bet is to call Royal directly or deal with an agent as the online reservations will not allow you to put more than 4 on a reservation. If you look on the deck plans for each ship, the ones with the "5+" symbol are the ones that can hold your family of 6. These cabins are few and far between. Book early, they go fast.
  6. We're in 1854 on Adventure this coming July. I am just going to suck it up and go to the WJ...??
  7. Oh my...you have goats?! Now this is really getting interesting. ? Safe travels tomorrow.
  8. When on ship without CK, we usually just do WJ unfortunately. I know that Chops or Giovanni’s is usually open for people to eat in, but you still have to go get your own food from WJ and bring it in there. Not sure if those restaurants are actually “open” with service for lunch on embarkation day. When we sailed Mariner in August 2018, that was the case. Chops was available for suite guests to bring their plates into but you couldn’t actually order from there.
  9. Some people live their lives in constant denial....
  10. In addition to being a suite snob, I am even more of a tea snob. I always pack my own. It weighs almost nothing.
  11. I wouldn't think on it too much. Sometimes they change it up really close to the cruise. That is one of the benefits of Star class. It won't matter if they switch things up.
  12. Definitely Uber or Lyft from PE to FLL. A RC transfer will cost you more and you will have to wait around longer for the shuttle to fill up.
  13. Even while at sea, you can still see in between most of the balconies. Just be aware.
  14. 1-1:30pm. Unless you are booked in Star Class.
  15. Just as long as you understand that your balcony is "not that private".
  16. I normally don’t quote pics but I am laughing so hard at this one! I dare you to email this pic to your Genie. ?
  17. You should have had the Grilled Tofu! ? Love the pics of St. Lucia. That's what got us on a cruise in the first place many years ago.
  18. Exactly^^^ this! By the time you wait, the larger suites will be gone.
  19. If you want the Villa, book super early, upon release.
  20. Love those pics of Oasis! I can see my room where I will be in 56 days!
