  1. We had 10 people in the Villa on Harmony last year and they were able to accommodate us with no problem. We did not pre-book anything and we got into all venues that we wanted, including Hibachi. This can either work for, or against you, depending on the particular sailing. If it's a sailing where a lot SC people are interested in the flowrider, you only end up with about 1 run each. So not great. And like already mentioned, the times are usually early, around 8:30/9am. However, if you get lucky and it's a sailing where not many SC people are interested, then you can almost have the whole thing to yourself.
  2. Literally, that is it. I could not even believe it when I first saw it. I walked around because I thought it wrapped around to the other side. Nope. A strip of space.
  3. Oh shoot, I take that back. This might not help me. I just saw the email from the cancellation of Star and Wonder, August 17th is one of the replacement options. That is the one I want to book....I hope this does not affect the release of those itineraries tonight.
  4. @OCSC Mike going to back to this...now those overlap days would make more sense
  5. Nope. Doesn't change my plans. In fact, it would help me if Wonder did a few more 7N's in August 2025. I am prepared to book a B2B but would prefer not to.
  6. We have been blessed enough to do several star class sailings with our kids, and my niece and nephew. I have always thought, and still do think, that SC has the best value when you have kids with you. We've done SC just as a couple as well, and we definitely don't use our Genie as much when it's just the two of us. This question is so general, I don't quite know where to start. Thinking back to our sailings with our kids and extended family, it was really convenient to get different types of food delivered for the kids when the adults wanted something else. There have even been times when we would go eat dinner somewhere, and the kids would arrange with the Genie to have something else on their own. Our kids also get great value out of unlimited Starbucks and milkshakes from JR. I cannot speak about Adventure Ocean as my kids have never liked AO ever, but I have heard from others that the Genie can help arrange times for that as well. Overall, when you have a larger group, I find the Genie to be so helpful, from organizing dinners, skating times, managing everyone's preferences, etc. I'm not sure if I am answering this well, it's so general, and it really varies from one family's needs to another, but keep asking. Yes, they are family friendly. There is even a kids menu in CK.
  7. Ok well at least I know I didn't break it then by refreshing too many times lol
  8. Is this deployment link broken for anyone else other than me? bad sign? lol https://creative.rccl.com/Sales/Royal/Deployment/2025_2026/2025-2026_Deployment_Opening_Schedule.pdf
  9. Those early live blog start days are over lol. I keep saying that and no one believes me.
  10. I find it hilarious how the roles are identical in your house, compared to mine, when it comes to travel, except reversed. I have already told Hubby many times that we leave on Friday, March 8th. Hopefully he remembers...
  11. Maybe you can talk to Hubby about this in December lol And also willing to room in the bathtub or balcony if space is available!
  12. Please release Wonder and Utopia itineraries today
  13. Yes, but it is a super poor excuse for one. It wins for being the worst suite sundeck on any Quantum/Oasis/Icon class ship. There are photos of it in my blog that I linked but it's literally a strip of space and that's it.
  14. We had 8724 on OY (next door) and I loved that cabin. The GLS on OY is pretty much identical to the ones on Anthem, Ovation, and Quantum. I don’t find the trek to the back as far as the ATS on Oasis class. I know someone who booked that sailing for November 2025. It is a pretty decent rate for star class for 11 nights. Cruising out of Cape Liberty is easy. We done it a few times with no real issues. OY the ship itself is very much a Quantum class ship with “oasis like” dining additions. Here is a link to our sailing for NYE that I blogged for more info: https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/boards/index.php?/topic/44381-new-year-new-odyssey-our-journey-into-2024…-–-oy-12312023-–-01062024/
  15. See this post before you book that category: https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/boards/index.php?/topic/45191-new-jr-suite-class-on-symphony/
  16. If sailings less than 8 nights have no headliner, then what would replace that in the theatre? I am confused here...I thought the jugglers, random singers, etc. were the headliner?
  17. Oh I am praying that doesn't happen! I literally told my TA last night we need a Plan B if that does. I keep refreshing that deployment link too.
  18. I am laughing at the pics of Lydia! She looks thrilled reminds me of two years ago when we went to London (before Norway) and Hubby took forever in Trafalgar Square trying to recreate pics. Also, crazy with your friend Dan. Thank goodness they were on a ship excursion. Can you imagine if they were on a private excursion
  19. My sister got a small price drop a few months ago on UT 3/10/2025 sailing, in a Grand Suite. I am on the same sailing in the ATS and mine went up by $3000. Go figure. lol
