  1. Really hoping they do a 4 sisters pic. Not sure why I want them to so much...just seems like the right thing for them to do, lol.
  2. I'd love to do an Alaskan cruise on Explorer, or Ovation. However, I'd like to do the one way on Radiance first, as it includes Seward. A second trip would be for a bigger ship, more for the ambiance of being in Alaska, over the ports/excursions.
  3. I was wondering that too, if she could even get into the ports.
  4. We had a group of 5 on Enchantment, with a 530 MTD time arranged for the week. Due to 1 of our sailing companions having no sense of time we ended up late all 4 nights, latest was 6. We still ended up with the same table and waiters every night.
  5. You COULD walk to Jetty Park...probably about a 30min walk...depending on which terminal you end up at. If 1, then walkable (though boring and no real walk path as it's more of an industrial area). Any of the others I'd get a ride of some kind.
  6. So I just read Matt's blog about the ship shifts, and noticed Mariner coming to Port Canaveral, along with Harmony...even more excited now! Ovation has been specifically designed for the Asian market, yes? I wonder what changes, if any, they'll make when she does her Alaskan tours.
  7. Shoot, some ships still have chapels...just kill two birds with one ship! Engaged and married within a week ?
  8. I (among many others I'm sure) was right about a Quantum in Alaska! And I'm so stoked to see Harmony coming to Cape Canaveral! Really really considering Oasis next year, now even more so before she moves.
  9. We've done 2 in one day, twice, but we checked and double checked the times, and asked the shore excursions desk if it was possible. However, I agree with @Matt, most of the time it's not the best idea to book multiple per day.
  10. I've had it both ways on RC. Either way they'll let you know. Don't be afraid to ask if you're not sure.
  11. All excursions booked through RC provide transportation. You meet on the ship and walk off as a group, or you meet on the pier and they walk you all to busses or whatever they're using to get you to the destination. Tipping at the end of the cruise is up to you. You don't have to. If you receive exceptional service, then whatever you feel comfortable giving.
  12. From what I've heard RC does this for babies as well, but you can't do it online, it still only offers rooms with pullmans. I'm considering calling about getting an ocean view on a higher deck on Oasis, which online doesn't allow.
  13. It was crowded when we went, April 2016. Fun, except my wife really wanted to feed them, but people grabbed handfuls of food, instead of 1 piece per person, so she didn't get to. Then, trying to get a picture with one was a pain because of a family from a different culture just shoved their way in front of us. She finally shoved them out of the way, once they had their turn but wouldn't let others in, and got her picture. I mainly snorkeled with the rays on the edges, away from the main crowd of people.
  14. Mr @UkuleleCruiser, I haven't seen you on here in a while, or I'm just not reading the right posts.
  15. True...Great question! Answer is no ? @monctonguy, Molson Golden is from up your way, and it's my 2nd favorite beer.
  16. Seeing a Quantum class with snow in the background...Could a Quantum visit Alaskan ports? That'd be a fun (expensive?) cruise!
  17. I've only been twice, and loved wandering around the far end of the island with no people. So peaceful, and a great view, unhindered, of the massive big-blue-wet-thing.
  18. Great article, thanks for sharing. I can't wait for the reveal of the new adventure on Symphony...fun for all ages...hmmm
  19. No knives. They'll find it and hold it (in my experience).
