  1. Some day we would like to do a DCL cruise, but we have no you children and the no casino is an issue for us. We don't spend a lot of Tim or money in the casino, but an integral part of our cruise experience nonetheless. The first 10 minutes or so of this well made home video (not mine) always gets me excited about O-class. https://youtu.be/fdJA8nsimwI
  2. Quatum class is automatically handicapped in my opinion because of the the home port and itinerary. We usually cruise in November and April and NY can still be a bit chilly not to mention bermuda and Nassau are not my favorites. That said, had Anthem been available today for fall 2017, I would have considered it. Instead I booked Oasis :) now just waiting for Navigator itineraries. :(
  3. Okay, so I would love to do Q-Class, but I am not really excited about sailing out of Cape Liberty in November and going to a relatively mild bermuda or the Bahamas. Would you do Anthem out of NJ or Allure out of FFL in early Nov, 2017??
  4. Weird?? What do you think I am doing right now :)
  5. Crown & Anchor's FB page says Caribbean itineraries will be available to members tomorrow.
  6. impatiently waiting! probably won't come out until Thursday, so I guess I will just keep hitting refresh every hour for four days? :)
  7. My summons to the Naughty Room required me to open my own bag. Surprisingly they let me keep the 8 pack of diet Pepsi once they determined it was not beer.
  8. Does the fact that the 2 cabins you referenced are connecting staterooms diminish it's appeal? Love seat instead of full couch? Secondly, I just found out that "eskimo house" is showing freedom, Adventure and allure cruses already through spring 2018. Just curious, do all the large TAs get advanced informaton or just that one?
  9. In preparation for the release of caribbean itineraries next week, I am wondering if we should try to shoot for an aft JS or one on the hump. We have stayed in Junior suites before but never on the hump (I'm told a larger balcony). We have also stayed in an aft balcony on Adventure before and loved it. We current have the center leading hump JS on both allure and Freedom on future booked cruises. The the question is, if Navigator is still doing 9nt southern, would you prefer Aft JS or Hump JS? Unless of course there is a phenomenal price on a GS :)
  10. I think your choice is wise, particularly for relatively new cruisers. Most of the time I will gladly pay an extra %25 for the comfort of knowing the ship won't leave me behind. Also, almost all of the Caribbean is on EST and ship time should be the same as port time. There is usually a line in the cruise compass if it will different than that.
  11. Maybe it is just me, but the crap they sell on board is, well....crap. I would cheerfully purchase a good quality golf or oxford shirt emblazoned with the RCCL logo and pay a pretty penny for it, but all I have seen is very uncomfortable tee shirts with poor screen prints. It's ok with me that I can't find it off the ship too.
  12. No unfortunately, the OBC offer is only the amount of the required deposit.
  13. We have done southern twice both on Adventure. I agree with doc, Anthem would provide more activities for the kids. What itinerary are you doing?
  14. I hope that someday I will be able to afford to answer your questions
  15. I am really hoping Navigator will still be doing the 9nt southern route out of Miami for spring 2018! We will also look to do Oasis or Freedom in the fall 2017.

  19. Suite guests are provided a luxury robe. I believe non luxury robes are available upon request for other state room catagories. My experience has been they are better than princess's.
