Their website says the price of the cabanas include up to 6 but you can pay for an extra 2, totaling 8.

I'm looking at Carnival's (can I say that?) excursion site, which usually gives a good idea for what is generally available, and it looks like there are very few for St. Croix.
-
In the event that Allure's refurbishment is a lot like Oasis' and rooms are added, does anyone have any idea when these rooms will go online?

When it comes to the price, the only thing that matter is the age. You can be 50 and choose the kids menu and get charged full price. You can be 8 and order off the adult menu and get charged the kids price.
I believe if you pay the child pricing they have to order off the kids menu.

Take a Go Port bus to the airport.

Has Maya - Lost kingdom water park reopened? We did this cruise in 2018 and are doing it again ion 2025. I know we have plenty of time but we definitely want to do it again. Right now the site does come up and if you try to book from other sites none of the dates are available.
It's open. We visited it in October 2023 when on Wonder.

I know you can’t fit in it with 5 people, but the Surfside Family Suite is HORRIBLE, even for 4 people.. Our friends had that room on our cruise in February. They booked it long ago and only paid $7k for 4 people and they HATED that room and said they’d never do it again. It was small for two adults and two 12 year old boys, they felt like a regular balcony room would have been better. The bed the boys had to sleep on was so short that both of their feet hung off the end about 6 inches when laying flat and they are only 5’ 4”. The overall area of the room seemed smaller than most balcony rooms. It only had 1 small closet and the closet wasn’t even deep enough for the supplied hangers to fit properly. The hangers had to turn sideways to fit in the depth of the closet which made the space available to hang clothes even less.We booked that room when Icon first opened up. At the time, I loved the design of it and how it was laid out. However, since the ship has come out and I've seen actual photos and videos plus read some reviews, I am heavily regretting my decision. Luckily, my kids are only 5 and 2.

Does anyone know the size of the bunks in this cabin? I think I read somewhere that they are smaller and only suitable for little kids?
On Royal's site it says they are twin beds.

I personally am of the mindset that Allure will transition to 4/5 day trips at some point with another ship moving to the 7 day trips.
Hopefully this is the case. I'm dying to go on Utopia or Wonder (again) but refuse to do a 3 or 4-night that goes to CocoCay and Nassau.

For my oldest, the suite concierge set her up prior to boarding.
For my youngest, I called the Crown and Anchor Society and they set it up.

Do you like waterparks? If so, I'd highly recommend Lost Mayan Kingdom.

Different strokes… some people sail for the ship & love CocoCay. I did a 3/4 B2B once, enjoyed it, and there’s a good chance I’ll do them again.
Don't misunderstand what I'm saying, I love CocoCay as well and contrary to most people, I enjoy Nassau. I can't get behind going to the same place every 3-4 days though. I wish short cruises had more variety, though I do understand there are limited options as well when doing shorts.
I think more than anything it just frustrates me that they use the two newest Oasis-class ships to do these short cruises.
-
The short sailings are so, so........so boring.
3-4 nights that go to CocoCay and Nassau repeatedly. I mean, yuck.

FYI, all the drink packages may be on sale today for "National Margarita Day" in case anyone is shopping.
For my upcoming Wonder cruises, the DPB is the same sale I keep seeing but Refreshment is down a few bucks and Soda is the Black Friday price of $8.99.
During Black Friday, kids 12 and under actually got the soda package for 50% off the $8.99 price as well bringing it down to about $4.50/day. I definitely wish I would've booked it then.

When do you think we'll find out the details of Allure's amplification? I booked her for fall 2025 so fingers crossed they're good.
I did find this from 2019 when she was supposed to be amplified. Hopefully it remains at this or better.

If you book when there's an onboard credit sale going on, and 48 hours later there's a different sale but the price drops, will you get to keep the onboard credit when you reprice?

Kids Sail Free doesn’t seem to be working. I sort by eligible sailings, but it’s only coming up as 60% off for guests 3 and 4 no matter if I put it as 2 kids 2 adults or 4 adults - same price.
Anyone finding a cruise it’s actually working on for the new releases?I was gonna book a Star-class on Odyssey but noticed this issue as well.

There's some stuff changing online. You now have the option to select Cape Liberty for May '25 through April '26, but no results appear.
-
I'm praying for some decent Caribbean itineraries from Cape Liberty that do NOT stop in Port Canaveral.

Is all 6 water slides complimentary or do you have to pay extra to get access to it? IF you do have to pay extra, does it give you access to the water slide for the entire cruise or just that day?
It's complimentary.

Are you sure you're booking the EXACT SAME cabin in this comparison? It's highly unlikely that you are. Cabins for 2 and cabins for 4 are generally different sub-categories. And yes, those sub-categories will have different pricing due to different levels of demand. The proper comparison is a cabin for 4 (2 adults with 2 kids) vs a cabin for 4 (4 adults). Then, even if you have managed to get Royal's website to let you book a cabin that sleeps 4 people for only 2 people, of course it will be more expensive on a per person basis. If Royal lets you leave beds empty, then they are giving up the extra revenue those missing passengers might have spent on board. To make up the difference, they would have to charge more for that cabin.
I checked what you said, and to your point, the subcategories are not the same. However, you still cannot convince me that it makes sense to charge less for 4 people than 2 people.

I'll add one more. If you do 2 adults and 1 kid it's $9600
How the heck are they even calculating this...

Alright, I'm looking at an Icon sailing for November 30, 2024. I'm already booked, however my parents were also considering going but were flabbergasted at the price and said no way. Please tell me if I'm doing something wrong because this just isn't making sense to me.
Here's the scenario:
This sailing is part of a kids sail free promotion. I can book an ocean view with large balcony for 2 adults and 2 kids for $7125.96.
However, just booking the same ocean view with large balcony for only 2 adults is $9444.48.
There's no way this is right, is there? Can someone explain the phenomenon that is happening?
