That is an interesting idea actually as we are gonna be in St. John's late, I think 10 PM. What restaurant or restaurants do you go to? Any suggestions? We might try that since we are there so late. They except American money or I guess we could just use our debit card, that probably be easier?
We ate at the seafood restaurant just across the street from the cruise port... Steamers Seafood is the name. My wife had a lobster roll, and I had fried clams- both were very good. There are more restaurants just the next block up the hill, that look like they would be worth checking out. There are a number of places within easy walking distance.
Enjoy!

Our our cruise in Aug. RC dropped Bar Harbor, and we added an overnight in St. John, NB... so glad that they did this- we loved the place, loved having dinner out instead of lunch (as we do in most ports). The people were so kind, there was a surprising amount to do (loved our whale watch excursion and the BEST OF ST. JOHN tour).
All in all, a win in our book!

My wife and I recently cruised on Vision of the Seas, a smaller ship (2500 max), and often ran into similar issues in regards to getting elevator access.
We also chose to take the stairs most times that we could to avoid the joslting and hassle of dealing with the elevator crowd.
I think it is more an issue of number of people vs. number of elevators x places where people want to go... and how well the ship/cruise line manages events and activities.

I happened to pick up my RC polo from my local thrift store!
And this was after I booked my first cruise, but before we had taken it!

Does anyone know if they have any theme nights during this cruise? For example: 50-60’s night, 70’s night, all white dinner night & how many formal night?
I'd be interested to know this as well! I believe, with the length of the cruise, that we will have TWO formal nights, correct?

Good morning, Gentlemen! It is good to see we will have some company on this cruise! It seems the ship is fully booked but there hasn't been much action on our roll calls. Five us will be joining you, my husband, daughter, son-in-law, adult granddaughter and myself. We have cruised a lot (by my standards) but not in the mega numbers I have seen reported by others. This is our first time on this itinerary. We have all of our excursions booked and I am ready to start packing! I am holding off on that. It is a little early but I have made my packing list.
I hope you and we will thoroughly enjoy this cruise!
I hope that you and yours have a happy cruise as well!

We just purchased a combo of luggage tags and badge lanyards... $11.99 for 4 tags and 2 badge lanyards. They arrived and look like they will work great.
