The reason I focused on Embassy Suites was the 4 people staying in a room (including elderly). There’s gonna be more space in a basic room and you could fit (4) easier. There’s 100 better options then Embassy if you we’re going with 2 people.

I believe they renovated Embassy Suites recently.

Please elaborate. Both vents are located at the bow of the ship. My first thought was forced air venting for the anchor locker area a few decks below. Makes sense that they may be related to the bow thrusters being up front. I agree re: minimal passenger access for the helipad.

Which part? That’s a real cliff hanger of a statement.

Based on the 4 people Embassy Suites 17th Street offers the most space. Perfect for you all. Depending on the time of year prices fluctuate between $120-$350/ night.

Let me know what you want and I can make recommendations. Different folks have different expectations.

Well every one that I have been on (and I’ve been on every OC ship at least twice ) each time in suites. I’m sure they cancel for weather related issues though.

I’ve had them on all the Oasis Class ships every single time but unsure of other class ships.

This Sunset sail away party is for Grand Suite & higher.

Yep, those doors pop open and seem to be some type of intake or vent system. The small barrier around them would not be safe w/o supervision. Makes sense that they have the suite sail away party (with plenty of staff oversight) and then the area is restricted.

Just looked up Baby Beach and it looks perfect! Thanks for the recommendation.

Can anyone who has been to Aruba please give me some pointers on a nice beach day while in Aruba? We have been many years ago but this time we are returning with 2 young children. 1. How far is Eagle/Palm beach from the cruise port? 2. Best spot to go w/ kids? 3. Cab or bus? Any suggestions would be awesome. I don’t think we’re going to book via Ship excursion.

Nervous about cruising in September
tonyfsu21 replied to Lovelysmile29's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
I would not be nervous at all about booking a September cruise. Rain is a thing down here year round and it rarely rains all day for multiple days. Mostly just afternoon showers where it can go from storming to sunshine in 15 minutes. Concentrate on enjoying your upcoming cruise and leave the worrying up to Royal & there meteorologist. -
Book a grand suite or above & enjoy the sunset sail away party. IMHO one of the better Suite perks available.

Oasis class deck 17!!

Does Oasis have the same scenario as Allure regarding poker?

I think with the premium for fee options available at coco cay it would not be in their best interest to offer an area specific to suite guests. I think at best it’s a discounted day pass to the beach club.

Endless Summer down here. I would expect 70’s. If anything, I would prepare more for rain then anything resembling that thing you Northerners call cold.

Can you wear shorts into My Time Dining?
tonyfsu21 replied to JRogers's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
IMHO it’s your vacation and you should dress in whatever makes you comfortable. I have never witnessed a crew member turn anyone away or even acknowledge the fact that there is any type of dress code. -
Anyone have this booked yet? Price is steep @ $1600 but considering booking for next Thanksgiving. I can’t wait to see the reviews start to come in once it’s open.

Did you find Symphony of the Seas too crowded
tonyfsu21 replied to cadu43's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
Completely the opposite. Oasis class ships seem to be the only ships that don’t feel crowded despite the volume of people. -
Chris Wong is most likely putting out fires from guests that apparently were not getting points last night on the machines. Multiple hours of play and 0.00 points....
