Can anyone lucky enough to be currently sailing Wonder please upload some pics of the new Vue bar as well as some details as to what exactly the Golden Room is adjacent to casino? Is it the obvious high roller room or is there more too it? Thank you!

How’s the Vue bar on deck 15? -
Isn’t crown loft Sky class? I think Royal Loft & Star Loft get the star class amenities.

Watches/Jewelry and Expensive clothes on ship?

Wear it & enjoy it! People watching is prime time on a cruise ship. You will see everything from the fashionistas dressed head to toe in Gucci to the casual shorts, t shirt & sandals folks all crossing paths. At the end of the day, it’s fun to watch. -

That’s the only way I roll. I live in Fort Lauderdale so the sandals never come off. -
Symphony of the Seas when full?
tonyfsu21 replied to Traveling Mike's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
It’s certainly noticeable at full capacity but you only really see it at the pool, windjammer & casino IMHO. The Oasis class is laid out so well it’s difficult to feel the Times Square NYE effect. -
Grand suite and higher gets you access. If you are already Diamond then I wouldn’t necessarily say the upgrade from JS to GS is worth it solely for the suite lounge access. If you are moving up to a loft suite then it actually feels like you have a significant upgrade because of deck 17 and totally worth the upgrade.

The suite lounge is generally less crowded and they offer beverages over a longer period of time in comparison to the Diamond lounge. Also, suite lounge is in a prime location high up with awesome views (Oasis class). There is access to the suite concierge who can assist with booking shows, dinners exc and they also recognize you by name when you walk through the door (presume it’s due to the key card access giving them a heads up on your name).

Watches/Jewelry and Expensive clothes on ship?

100% true. It would be slightly out of place to see the cleaning staff donning a Hermes Birkin bag while rolling the cleaning cart down the hallway. Not impossible but very suspect. In the 30 years I’ve been cruising I have never once had an issue with theft. -

I think it’s more about separation anxiety then it is attempting to impress anyone. Watch enthusiasts (especially Rolex collectors) are very passionate and enjoy wearing their watches. I get that part, but not the clothing at all. -

My watch is not insured. I haven’t ever encountered a setting where I feel uncomfortable in the islands with the exception of a stop in Jamaica where it got a bit uncomfortable (still no issues). As for my wife’s bags they have always been left in the room without issue. -

I wear a solid gold Rolex Submariner 24/7/365 ship or no ship and have never had a single issue. I only use the safe for wallet, cash and boarding documents. As for the clothing, I can’t really assist with that considering my standard issue outfit is Tshirt, shorts & flip flops. Sorry. -
Try CVS on 17th street in Fort Lauderdale (SE corner of 17th street and federal highway) Otherwise there is no shortage of pop up tents all over the city that do rapid testing. We cruise often and are locals in Fort Lauderdale using this particular CVS and have never had any issues.

Are kids allowed in the Diamond Lounge?

True, they let some real characters through that door. -

My kids are in and out of both the Diamond lounge & suite lounge all day, everyday. No issues. -
Pre-cruise COVID testing, Fort Lauderdale

Instant being the most convenient on 17th street. -
You may not get an invite but you can manually follow the link and bid. I haven’t come across a sailing yet that didn’t allow me to bid but then again most of ours are on Oasis class ships with many room categories

True I’ve learned this the hard way a few times. Matt, I think you stayed in MY 2BR aqua theatre suite last Thanksgiving on Harmony! Lol

Correct. You can also get the cans (yes cans) of water if you ask. The bar tenders will give you pretty much whatever you want especially if you hand them a cash tip and they get to know you. I’ve never had a problem walking in at pretty much anytime day or night and getting anything I wanted.

Would it not be great if RC would add a stateroom type filter to the search? It’s so annoying to get 3/4 through the process to find out nothing available. Or how about a per person price slide bar? In 2022 we should have these search options available. What am I missing?

Bump bump bump

This is another example of the horrific customer service which seems to haunt royal Caribbean. They just can’t get their act together and that’s sad considering how loyal of a cruiser you are at D+.

Anyone know when RC will release 2023 Wonder of the Seas November sailings?

This is a question only you can answer. Think shore excursion tips, room attendant tips, dining staff tips (all optional by the way).
