I will try to update tomorrow with some pictures from our time in curaçao. We are in Aruba all day though so it might be Thursday when back at sea. However, we had a great time on our private excursion today. Crazy Uncle and Aunt unfortunately didn’t make it as Aunt wasn’t feeling well, but it was great. Will fill in some details later. Got back on ship about an hour before all aboard. Went to Windjammer for dinner, yes @Lovetocruise2002 we ate there for dinner. Sorry @OCSC Mike no pictures. Now about to watch Love and Marriage show!

I am confusing the dinner crew.  There is way too much food on the ship, so I have been going to dinner and only getting a main course.  Tonight, dinner took me 20 minutes from start to finish.  It is not like I am not eating.  Today was one of my workdays.  I got up this morning and went to the Buffet and found a good table with the soft bench.  Then I spent the next 6 hours working on my computer.  I am a computer programmer, so it was real paid work.  I was also able to attend three different meetings.  I did not eat any meals, but I started with Bacon/sausage and toast.  that lasted the first 2 hours.  Then I got some fruit and grapes for the next two hours.  Then the last two hours was meat and cheese.  Now it is 7:30 pm and I feel good about what I got done today and am going to bed early.
Tomorrow, I have a shore excursion that starts at 8 am and lasts 6 hours.

I have never done Deal or No Deal but told everyone who buys cards are playing.  Lines in casino are crazy to buy.   Random peeps picked from audience to go on stage and then remaining explained like a bingo format where everyone has chance to win certain prizes.  Person who explained it to me actually was picked to be on stage and won.
I was told there are videos online of actual episodes from ships for further reference.

I definitely wouldn't pay dollars out of my own pocket to go again, but I wouldn't turn down another offer to freeload..like perhaps in January 2025 on Equinox when it comes to PC 🫥
No idea how that went.  If I would have paid more attention I might have swung by just to watch. I just know there was a crazy line in the casino to purchase the scratchers!

Since a 12th person laughed at the above post, I felt it was worthy of a follow-up.
Oh the irony... the buffet actually looked great (Matt even mentioned how good it was in his review) and we already know I don't actually care about what an interior looks like... but nothing else seemed very appealing to me as far as basic, included, non-suite food/drink/activities go.
I'm still willing to be a bathtub-sleeping freeloader but I don't foresee joining the traitor ranks anytime soon.

Everyone in my party loved Effectors on Odyssey, though not without a few criticisms. I am looking forward to Effectors 2 on Wonder, I loved the drones.

As someone who doesn't do Broadway (with a few exceptions) I was actually looking forward to Effectors 2 on Wonder and I agree it was pretty cool. We had ages 9-70+ with us and it kind of had a little something for everyone (a bit less so for my wife's parents but you get the idea). I'd like to see the 1st one but given my cruise habits it's highly unlikely we sail on Quantum class anytime soon. I'll settle for your review.

The Effectors is the show that I am most looking forward to next month. I didn't really think I would care for it, but after seeing Effectors 2 on Wonder in July, I am really looking forward to seeing what type of special effects are in the first one.
And we love Ricky Matthews! We cruised with him years ago, I cannot even remember which ship it was now, then we ran into him again on Wonder in July. I was so excited when I saw on his FB feed that he was headed to Odyssey until January. You are right, he is hilarious, has an awesome energy to him. Go watch the Love & Marriage show with him too, it's always funny.

Last night after dinner went and saw Effectors. Special effects were pretty cool. After that it was to the 80’s party. Cruise director Ricky and his team did an awesome job. Energy was great. It was in music hall which I would say just makes it so not as many people can participate as can when it’s on the promenade on oasis class ships. 

Got all dressed up nice and fancy tonight for formal night. Dinner was in MDR. I had the French onion soup, my favorite. Still mad it isn’t available every night. Also tried the calamari. For Entree I had the beef tenderloin and the seafood linguini. And dessert had the apple cobbler.  The soup and dessert were really good. The beef was decent. Didn’t care for the linguini. Service was good and we were out of there in about 90 mins. Here are some food pictures. 

Yeah it wasn’t really planned well. Giovanni’s was booked before we knew it was white night. Then I said well, wether we spill on white or something else we will still have to change after so let’s give it a shot. Of course, the crazy uncle the last bite of his dessert spilled chocolate on himself. The other 7 of us made it out alive.

Another sea day today. Tried some bingo and was 1 number away from winning the jackpot game. Then went to the casino and donated back my winnings from yesterday. 

Breakfast this morning in the MDR. 

After dinner went to karaoke. Boy was that a mistake. I by know means even begin to claim that I can sing, but somehow on this cruise we got all the people who flunked 5th grade music class up here singing 🤣

Service and food was great!  I think I got pictures of everything we had. Sorry @OCSC Mike, I thought with 8 people we would have more variety. Ended up 4 people ordered the lasagna 😂🤦‍♂️

So small gripe. The picture guy came and took our pictures at the table before food came which was great.  However, then he comes back trying to sell the pictures while we have only gotten our appetizers. I asked if the pictures were available at the photo desk and part of the photo package as I bought a 100 package, and he said those photos weren’t part of the package. Seems dumb that they wouldn’t be. However, the pictures were really good and we had all dressed up for white night so we wanted the pictures. It was $35 for to get both the couple picture and then the group picture. So now we are sitting with photos while having to finish our meal. Seems like that part should have been done at the end. 🤷‍♂️

Since we had a large group the server said he would just bring out all the appetizers. The rest of the people in my party didn’t quite understand what was happening. It was quite funny watching the confused look on their faces. Here’s the appetizer picks. 

Pretty chill day so far. After the event went and watched some flow rider. My uncle decide to give it a shot!  I will do some boggie boarding at some point and then on our last day have a flow rider lesson. 
 
After that we hung at the pool for a little bit. Being a sea day it was pretty busy as you would expect. Seas have been pretty calm even with it being a little windy so hasn’t been a ton of motion so far. 
 
After the pool it was time to test out the casino. Luckily it wasn’t very busy being that it was in the afternoon, but the casino seems a little small to me. Not very many table games. But played for about an hour and walked about almost tripling my money, so I was happy. 
 
Now off to Giovanni’s for dinner. I will try to remember pictures for you food porn lovers like @OCSC Mike 😂

Top tier number. First time going to one of these events. The orchestra that played was great. Captain was pretty funny. Had 1 person reach pinnacle this cruise. He was a younger guy. Probably early 20’s. 

Midnight. Like 3 hours past my bedtime 😂
