  1. Good to hear! We will tip them nicely so hopefully they will be happy to help us --- that is IF our luggage arrives with us
  2. I hope this will be acceptable as I don't want to get other currency just for that if possible.
  3. We will be cruising out of Amsterdam this Friday and the question that I have is tipping the porters in USD$ acceptable for them?
  4. We use the soft-sided pill organizers (Amazon) with the little zip-lock bags that fit into each slot. I love these as they are slim and fits into my carry-on backpack. I do have a picture of the original bottles just in case. I never have been asked in all our flying (domestic and international) but you just never know.
  5. We paid approx $560 for 8 people including our hotel stay for one night. Came out to $70 per person which is very cost effective. We stayed closed to the airport so we used the hotel's free shuttle pick up as per GoPort's directions. Some hotels closer to port cost quite a bit more but for us, this worked perfectly. Plus the hotel had free breakfast too.
  6. We used GoPort for the first time this past July for our Harmony cruise and I will 100% use them again. We stayed at the Hampton Inn Airport in Orlando the day before cruise, they picked us up and the hotel about 30 mins early and we all knew about it as we got a text from the driver (everyone was happy with the pick up time as that got us to the port before our 11:30 am check in time). The port pickup for our return to the airport was smooth. The shuttle bus was big and comfortable. There were 8 people in our party and we all were pleased. Very professional.
  7. We were on the Harmony last month and we were 100% capacity. However, we had early seating for dinner and walked right in every night. When we would leave the dining room the line for MTD was insanely long! We also used the solarium and there were lots of loungers to choose from but out by the main pools it was hard to get a lounger by mid-morning on (sea days). We had breakfast in the dining room every morning and did not have to wait. We aren't buffet people unless we have no other choice.
  8. We had the Key for the first time last month so we were able to get it tags right before our Key's lunch and our bags were taken to our cabins and were waiting for us when we were allowed to go to our cabins (which was around 1 pm). Otherwise, you have to keep up with them yourself.
  9. I had the same issue so I just took a picture from the app of my vax card and it worked. It took a couple of weeks to validate also.
  10. We always have our room steward to keep us in ice so that would be an option for next time.
  11. We flew in the day before (7/16) and we used GoPort for airport to hotel and hotel to port and then port back to airport. It worked like a charm! On the shuttle (it was a big bus) from the hotel to port and port to airport it was a great experience. We had 8 people in our group.
  12. On the Harmony last week, they were people wearing masks but not a huge amount but no one seemed to be out of place. All the RCI employees wore masks and a button with what they looked like without their mask. You just do what you feel comfortable doing.
  13. They told us it was closed thru September so if your going late October then you should be good. You will need to make reservations as soon as you finish your lunch to have a chance to book it.
  14. This was on NCL website. I hope RCI does this too before our August 19th British Isles cruise (Jewel). I got my fingers crossed (but not holding my breath)! EU Healthy Gateways Ends Pre-Cruise Testing Requirements For sailings beginning August 1, 2022, vaccinated guests sailing on a cruise originating from any port EXCEPT a U.S. port; Canadian port; or Piraeus, Greece are exempt from all pre-cruise COVID-19 testing requirements.
  15. We just returned from Harmony with the Key. We had our own line and it was very short (there were maybe 10-12 people ahead of us) compared to the other line that was very very long at 11:30 am. We were on the ship in less than 20 mins and headed to the Chops lunch (which was wonderful). They took our carry on bags straight to our rooms. I was pleasantly surprised at how smooth it all went. VOOM worked good all week. The only disappoints we had was that the Escape Room was closed for renovation and way too many people would cram into the elevator when it clearly not room. Other than that it was Great!
  16. I was wondering the same thing. We fly to Amsterdam on the 17th for cruise on the 19th.
  17. My Granddaughter is now 16 and is looking forward to being in the Solarium this time; however, my 14 year old is not too happy about it but as we told her, rules are rules and we will abide by them.
  18. I think it is a combination of reasons. Probably a lot due to having to use their FCC and mostly like us - we are SO READY to travel again!!! I know that our cruise this Sunday (Harmony) will be a full (100%) cruise with lots of kids. We know this going in and our Grands are old enough not to use any of the kids programs.
  19. I have paid over time many years ago but now we have a vacation savings account so I wait until about 3 weeks before final payment to pay the balance.
  20. I don't know the answer yet; however, I will be on the Harmony Sunday and I will try to remember to check for you.
  21. We are there next week also and we decided to just do a little shopping and go to Margaritaville I think.
