  1. I download quite a lot of shows and movies on my iPad for the airport, airplane, and ship. We get the VOOM but I find that it is very convenient just to have it already downloaded.
  2. They can send an email request to transfer their FCC to another guest. It has to be in letter form with the FCC numbers and who they want to get the FCC. Our friends did this for us as they have a medical issue and their doctor doesn't want them cruise out of the country for now. RCCL approved the transfer and we applied the new FCC to our British Isles cruise. I just paid our friends for it. Worked for us as we had to pay the balance of the cruise anyway. That way our friends didn't lose their money.
  3. We are on the Jewel (July) - British Isles for 12 nights and we couldn't justify to cost for the UBP. We purchased the Refreshment Pkg and we will just order when we want one. We aren't big drinkers anyway so probably 1 maybe 2 daily at the most and we will be taking 2 bottles of wine with us. We are very port intensive so getting our monies worth would be hard anyway. Excursions is where our drink package money went!
  4. You will need to bring a proctored test with you and do the day before or at the airport before flying home. Hopefully, the testing to come back to US will be lifted soon and you won't have to worry about it. We will be flying home from Amsterdam in August after our cruise so I am keeping my fingers crossed that we won't be required to test coming home.
  5. What other ships besides Odyssey have this feature? We are on the Harmony (July) and Jewel (August).
  6. I have a July cruise also (my final payment in 3 weeks) and my TA doesn't think they will. I just paid mine off last week.
  7. We fly to Amsterdam in August for our British Isles (Jewel) cruise and I am hoping the same thing! I do have eMed tests to bring for our return home is that is still a thing (fingers crossed that it will be dropped). I know that several airlines are pushing to have the mask mandate dropped. Sure would make a long flight way more comfortable not having to wear a mask.
  8. 114 days to Harmony of the Seas with the family and 147 days to Jewel of the Seas for a Bucket List/Mile-Stone cruise to the British Isles. The Jewel is very port intensive and we have all excursions booked for each port of call and Hubby will have his 65th birthday on this cruise. We also have 302 days until NCL Pride of America around Hawaii to celebrate my 65th birthday. We like the fact that we can fly to Hawaii instead of having 5 sea days.
  9. My hubby got his booster at our Pharmacy and he forgot his card for them to update it. They printed all three shots on their letterhead and he didn't even get the first two shots at the pharmacy. I took his card in the next week and they updated his card. So I would try to see if your pharmacy could make you another one.
  10. I would totally go with the Refreshment package. This is what we are doing also. You can order roughly 19-20 drinks using your OBC.
  11. We are flying into Amsterdam for our cruise on the Jewel of the Seas (August 2022) and Amsterdam required a negative test no more than 3 days before flight. We will be doing the eMed test on the day we fly that way one test will get both the flight and the cruise. We have already uploaded our Vax cards to Delta's Fly Ready App and they were accepted. For me, all this testing and extra steps sure is taking some of the excitement out of our pre-planning!
  12. The App is fine for booking stuff but we as a family like to look at it together and decide on what we want to do/see or whatever. It is too had to do that from your phone (my opinion). I guess I am old-school so I will be requesting paper copies if we don't automatically get them.
  13. I sure hope that they have changed it so that we can use it on Harmony (July) and Jewel (August). As I said before, I would turn ours off but then it would automatically turn back on. I'm crossing my fingers but not going to hold my breath!
  14. The are set up everywhere and you will see them in the dining rooms (they will come to your table and ask if you would like pictures) also. It will be easy to get all the pictures you want. You will just have to narrow it down if you have more than 100.
  15. We have a VPN with AT&T on our iPhones and iPads. We had issues with Oasis Wifi not working with our VPN. Even if we toggles the VPN off it would automatically turn itself back on. We had to delete the VPN off of Hubby's phone so he could use it to talk with his employees and etc. Now that was a 3 almost 4 years ago so maybe that has changed. It was so frustrating. Once we got off the cruise, we reinstalled the VPN.
  16. Wow! Good to know. Now that Canada doesn't have to test to enter now I hope everyone else follows suit and stops the whole testing!!
  17. When we returned to Atlanta from Cancun in February, we used our Global Entry for the first time. We just went up to the kiosk, touched it and looked at the camera an we got a small piece of paper and we were good to go. So easy and simple.
  18. You can gift your FCC to someone. Our friends that usually cruise with us is now currently on a transplant list and can not cruise before their FCC expires so that have to send an email to RCI requesting to gift them to us. We just got confirmation that they changed them to us last week. We then applied them to our July cruise coming up.
  19. We love Labadee! We get a Cabana and just relax. We had no complaints on the food as it is lunch outside.
  20. Not sure if this is helpful or not but to get the eMed proctored test they come with an approval Rx from eMed.
  21. We got these too! We also put our vax card into a plastic sleeve for added protection as you said, the paper is flimsy.
  22. Maybe the parents can give you cash to apply to their seapass account. Then if there is any left on the account, they will give back what is left. That way you don't have to keep up with how much they owe you. We have put cash onto our Grandkids accounts and it worked great.
  23. We have VPN on our iPhones and it kept getting blocked. We finally had to delete it (we tried just turning off the VPN but it kept turning itself back one) while on the cruise then installed it back when cruise was over. It was very frustrating for Hubby who had to check on his employees.
  24. I wouldn't think it would be due to lack of reservations as it is till early for people to reserve them.
  25. I do the same thing! I bring a mesh over the door (similar for holding shoes) with lots of pockets that I put that stuff in. I bring all sorts of OTC medicines, band-aids, sunscreen, and even insect repellent wipes. Even IF you could get it on the ship, it will cost more than what you would pay at home. I rarely need a lot of the stuff I bring; however, I would rather have it and not need it than they other way around.
