  1. Our last trip it was $30/day I "believe". Don't quote me.
  2. We checked, no mystery refunds for us. Thank you for the head's up, though.
  3. As the advice always is: go ahead and buy it now as you can reprice later on if it goes down. If it goes up you already locked in a lower rate.
  4. Sometimes they do. On our November cruise the price of the birthday decorations was cut by 50% for a short time and went back up later on. not guaranteed, but it happens.
  5. On our last check in for our upcoming cruise it was several days later after putting our check in information in before the vax card field populated. This could have been due to the app not seeing it, or perhaps there is a delay. Moral of the story, logged back in a few days later and it was there.
  6. Noted and thank you for that tidbit! Always got to look to make sure there are no additional fees. A good Travel Agent doesn't charge their clients anything!
  7. I would point out that while you may have had a bad experience with one MEI Travel Agent they have many affiliated agents. Try giving another one a shot so you can maintain that relationship. If you would like to go to someone else, then there are many resources you can use including Travel Leaders: https://www.travelleaders.com/travel_agent/find-a-travel-agent.aspx
  8. I bet I can find something I like! Thank you!
  9. Thank you for the help! The issue I keep running in to is it not being available on my ship, but I do appreciate the help.
  10. That's entirely true/possible, I appreciate the correction to that point, but it's still nice to know ahead of time that it may not be included.
  11. Just a note with the Johnny Rocket's shakes. That's only if you order dinner there and pay for the meal (like $10 or so). Then the milkshakes are free.
  12. Thank you for trying, though I'm gonna find a way to get this thing. LoL
  13. From what I could read I can say this: 1. Royal doesn't need to compensate you for missing CocoCay. In your cruise contract you can read they can cancel any port at any time and no compensation is due. Granted they sometimes will give you an OBC if you ask nicely, but they don't have to. You take a risk of not hitting your ports when you step on board. 2. I don't know what they charged you for, did you get an itemized folio? You really have to take care this onboard before you leave. But I would try reaching out to your credit card company. However, as long as Royal can prove the charges to be valid, your card company will allow them to stay. 3. Refunds for cancellations like you described can take 30 business days to process, so that charge may eventually come off.
  14. So glad it worked out! Yes, it is nerve-wracking. Going through the same thing as we are 15 days out.
  15. I want this tote! It's not available on Allure, so does anyone have any ideas on how to go about getting one? Thank you in advance!
  16. We have tried to limit ourselves in the past in the weeks leading up to a cruise. However, we are BIG theme park junkies and just couldn't stay away. Went to the parks, carried about our daily lives, and we tested negative. Of course I was a wreck up to that point. Fully vaxed and I have had covid 3 times already, so I'm not sure if my immunity is good now or what.
  17. It took 2 weeks after we checked in for the vaccine details field to show. We uploaded and got it approved within 24 hours. Sailing 05/14.
  18. That is for Bermuda. While I know this thread was originally focused on Bermuda, I was responding to his question about the Bahamas. No travel application is needed for the Bahamas for any cruise originating from outside of the Bahamas.
  19. As of our last trip we did not have to fill out any paperwork for Bahamas. You do not need a passport on closed loop cruises although it is HIGHLY recommended to get one in the event of an emergency.
  20. We have had zero issues getting off with our luggage. Never had it checked, just roll off and into the car we go.
  21. Exactly. As much as the airlines want the mask mandate to go away, they are going to be hesitant to do so until the Administration decides if it will appeal. Airlines want it gone, they are over it.
  22. Going to be quite interesting to see how the Administration handles this ruling. The judge's opinion on it was very informing, and basically swept away all of the rationale for the government. But much like any lawsuit, they will appeal and probably get a stay in the interim. I think all this will do is force them to not extend the mask mandate beyond May 3rd. They will argue it's set to end on May 3rd anyway, so this will just kind of act like a stop on more extensions after that.
  23. Joined! Partner an I definitely wanted to support such a wonderful endeavor!
  24. I'm thinking the main issues with The Bahamas unvaccinated thing is the testing window for arrivals is 72 hours. So if you count being able to test 2 days before departure on RCCL, plus travel time there, then everyone who is unvaccinated will be outside of that 72 hour window. Vaccinated travelers do not require any testing.
  25. Yes, there are testing requirement windows for that. https://www.bahamas.com/travelupdates
