Make sure your name on your Navica account exactly matches your photo ID. It asks for your fist name, but add your middle name on the same line. I had to update my account before they would continue because it didn't match my passport.  EX...Mary Jane, not just Mary. 
 

1/9-1/16: Explorer of the Sea (can’t remember the actual number) was at 30%. 

Jan 23rd on Explorer.  So excited to be back on a boat. Last cruise was on Vision Feb 2020 right as covid hit.😊

We sailed on the Oasis the first week of January and our entire week was fantastic!  Boarding was easy and efficient...as long as you had all of your required documents organized.  The crew was amazing and we felt safe and comfortable throughout.  We have a few more cruises planned in the coming months and other than the concerns about border controls (we are in Canada) we have no hesitation about sailing again.  Royal is doing a fantastic job in ensuring guests have a wonderful vacation.

On this same cruise and been following closely these ports. They've been allowing ships to dock with less than 1% positivity as their measure from my understanding. 
 

I called today because I'm about 2 weeks out and was told it's "invite only"... but was also given an email to email them to ask for an invite.
 
There's def rooms avail to upgrade to... but I was quoted +$1,000. Wondering if it's bc I'm on Explorer?

What are the factors used by Royal in awarding upgrades? Or Is it random? 

Run into this out of PR as well.. decided to stay the night to monday and we'll still save money with hotel vs flying home Sunday.

I like Aria of the Seas or better yet, Arya of the Seas.  The destination is west of Westeros!

To keep somewhat of a theme with the other Oasis class ships, Melody is my pick.
 
Some of those conflict with other lines' ship names. 

After Harmony and Symphony, I felt like Royal was going for a musical theme with the Oasis Class.  So Melody and Aria would fit nicely into this theme.

I was looking at South Africa and it took about three weeks for cases to peak after omicron started. (11-30 to 12-17, give or take). In the US, it looks like the current spike in cases started around 12/16, so we might have another week or two of awfully high case counts, then it will start going down. Of course, the demographics are different so the time span will be different.

Hopefully we avoid another shutdown as that won't do anyone good and it will just leave people more frustrated and angry that we can't seem to get a handle on this thing and we'll be spinning in circles forever as new variants come out every year. Personally, I am going on Navigator of the Seas in 18 days. Am I cancelling? No. Am I aware that my cruise experience may be impacted? Yes. Am I still going to enjoy myself regardless if no ports or shows are there? Yes. As much as I love to visit ports and watch shows, the main draw for me about a cruise is the ship itself and the ocean views. I can walk around the ship and watch the ocean for days without knowing anything else is going on. Just get me out to sea and I am a happy camper. I will continue to mask up and protect myself and those around me. I wore my mask in vaccinated areas during my 4 cruises in 2 months and returned home healthy each time. 

I was just told by RC that they will provide the Covid test to disembark from cruises sailing from San Juan
