I would like to thank those that brought this deal to the site! I don't usually read the topic "Royal Caribbean Dining" but am glad I did. We bought the 10 night dining package six months ago for our 17 night cruise in may when they had a 30% off sale. I rebooked this package one hour ago and saved another $85 per person so thanks a lot!! Please, no one tell my wife that I saved any money or she will just find another way to spend it.

I am curious as to how you connect your Raspberry PI to a video display? the TV's I have encountered do not allow me to Use the HDMI inputs?

An "Inside view" CP Cabin? Is that a cabin designed so that if you leave your curtains open the opposite side cabin can peer Inside yours?

Just a bit of trivia! Princess links their Internet plan to your Cabin Reservation and once the account is set up on each device you are good to go.

Next year when I reach Pinnacle level with C&A I will receive a certificate for a 7 day cruise. Since Celebrity matches C&A now does that mean I can also receive a certificate for Celebrity "Zenith" matching and giving a certificate for their 7 day Cruise as well? If not, does it allow for me to choose one or the other? Just trying to grab all the freebies I can.

I would like to test the "New App" and give my honest opinion however, I have been unable to log in at all today to check on my upcoming Cruise! Heck, it is only 78 days away and it still does not have Excursions set for this Cruise.

When devices connect to a Router or a Mobile Hot Spot on the ship they essentially share the same network speed provided by the Ships WiFi internet. The available bandwidth is divided (not always equally either) among all connected devices so, the more devices connected and in use, the slower each individual speed will be for each device. The Ships WiFi connects to the Router or Mobile Hotspot and sees it as the only device. The Router/Hotspot must then share its bandwidth with all devices attached to it. RCL is not known for the fastest or most reliable WiFi Internet connection either. Using a Router or Mobile hotspot does work with the caveat listed above however, having an Internet WiFi account for each device offers each device "full Bandwidth."

The only place we have sailed that the wife insisted we "Turn up the heat" in our cabin was Alaska in September. She is from Syracuse, NY and does not like the Cold. When we visit her relatives there I usually wear Shirt, Pants, Snow boots, and gloves and I am good to go. Opposites attract !

On the new ICON class ships is it possible to get Apple AirPlay on the Television? We have NetFlix and movies downloaded on our IPad and want to use Apple AirPlay to send them from the IPad to the TV. Some if not all of the TV's on other Cruise ships are locked and you cannot select HDMI connections or AirPlay. Has anyone tried this on an Icon Class? Maybe a quick $100 tip to my Cabin Steward might just unlock it?

I bring an average of 50 to 100 ducks with me on every cruise depending on the length of the cruise. While putting my ducks out I look for others that hide ducks to sign the cards (those that have one) and put them back for folks to find as well. I put some of my ducks out early in the morning (4:00am to 5:00am). I also carry a few in my pocket to hand out for the young uns that are too young to hunt on their own. I always make sure it is o.k. with the adult to offer the child a duck before just walking up and handing it to them.

I took a different Cruise line this time for a 16 day cruise round trip from Dec. 3 - 19 to Hawaii. No Airline needed as I live 50 miles from the pier. On day 11 two of us came down with flu like symptoms. We were given Antibiotics and seemed to get better. One week after my Cruise I was rushed to the Emergency room where I was Diagnosed with Double Pneumonia. I am still on Oxygen today and hope to not need it and get better soon. I am already looking at the Tokyo to L.A. 17 day Cruise if I can feel better by March.

I am looking at booking a 17 day cruise on Ovation of the seas as a Solo Cruiser. My question is as follows: If I book a Solo Cabin it is the exact same price as a Balcony Cabin. If i choose the Solo cabin do I only receive 17 days C&A points? If I choose the Balcony cabin with a discount code of DP340 and book solo will I receive 34 days C&A points? Way Way confused.

Is your laptop an Apple IOS or Microsoft PC? Every second Tuesday of the month both Apple and Microsoft publish updates and patches that can have an impact on your applications. If you regularly or automatically update your operating system it can have an affect on the way apps run. On the flip side of that, If you updated your RCL app but haven't updated the Laptop IOS or Microsoft operating system this can produce the same results. This is something I have encountered mostly on my Iphone and Ipad. P.S. RCL Tech team has been known to mess up a little so it could all be on the back end and nothing to do but wait till they get enough complaints to fix it. If it is something vital to an upcoming Cruise, call customer service and not customer support and have them add to or fix anything you need!
