  1. Anyone else seeing this error in their cruise planner? Been like this for days. Status Points !Sorry, we’re unable to display your loyalty status and points right now. Please check back later.
  2. I finally booked a Celebrity cruise on Silhouette for end of 2024! The deals were pretty good with 75% off second guest and I got $100 OBC. Albeit it's a short 3N cruise. Figured it's good for now. By that time I will be Diamond (almost D+) and Elite on Celebrity. So I'm guessing I should wait until I hit that level to start purchasing any extras in order to get discounts. For some reason RCCL and Celebrity's Loyalty programs are not showing the correct levels. Anyone else having this issue in the cruise planner?
  3. Royal Up has been my best and cheapest way of getting into a suite.
  4. Seems like Air2Sea is a good program with price matching. For those who have used this program, what are the pros and cons of going with Air2Sea rather than another airline where you may have already accumulated points or miles?
  5. Per this blog... what do you think? Points Guy - best time to book For domestic travel, Berg says to begin monitoring prices three to four months in advance, booking one to two months ahead of travel. "Most domestic trip airfare will fall between one and three months before your departure, before rising rapidly in the last three to four weeks before takeoff," Berg said. "This means there is a sweet spot where airlines will be offering lower prices on average and are more likely to offer promotional discounts and ultra-low fares."...
  6. According to CheapAir.com this is the best time to book/purchase international flights. (2022 study) What do you think? CheapAir Survey
  7. Yes, it's happened many times with me. Sometimes you don't even know they've canceled until you attempt to do that activity. But they always refund you right away.
  8. On the last day of the my Rhapsody cruise when we get to Bridgetown Barbados, there are a couple of excursions that include airport transfers. They both say they start at 9 AM and are about 3 to 4 hours long. These would be for flights after 3:30 PM. My flight is at 4:30. To me it would seem the excursions would end by 1pm. I also assume they will ask what times our flights are as a group. Do you think we will get to the airport in enough time or do they really wait till 3:30 to bring you to the airport? Has anyone done these?
  9. no covid requirements or visa, but there is a travel form we have to fill out according to this. https://www.visitbarbados.org/covid-19-travel-guidelines-2022 I fly to Bridgetown a day and half before the cruise.
  10. So some countries require additional travel requirements such as testing, visas, other travel authorizations and possibly fees. This was true for Bermuda and seems also true for Barbados. Always check each country for their special travel requirements. My question is does and shouldn't RCL also advise their passengers of these requirements ahead of time? For Bermuda I think they did but very close to sailing. I have yet to get anything about Barbados which is for March.
  11. Don't worry you'll be able to see all the shows with maybe the exception of the late night comedy show because it has limited seating.
  12. I have been doing more cruises to rack up the points as a Solo. I'll be Diamond by September and hopefully D+ by end of 2024.
  13. I like their roast coffee that you can get for free in many places.
  14. you can get a drink IMMEDIATELY! Go right to the bar once you step onboard.
  15. I haven't noticed any changes on my last cruise, but I actually prefer just having them come once a day. I feel weird when I go back and forth to my cabin and catch my attendant doing my room. Makes me feel like I have to stay away so they can work. i don't need my towels changed that often and you don't need to make my bed. Just leave me with enough TP and I'm good. Oh and a towel animal surprise.
  16. I still find the early MTD times. 6:45 / 7 PM. I reserve as soon as it opens up on the planner. I don't think it really matters, cuz people just show up anyway when it's not their time. I do think they should enforce the reservation times and if someone doesn't have a reservation, put them in a section that doesn't mess up other people's ability to get the same waiter and table.
  17. For me I need to try different things, different ships, different itineraries. So I would pick the ship I have never been on if all else is the same. Budget shmudget! lol Enjoy life.
  18. looks like you can do a day trip to Seattle or vice versa. take the train to either city, spend a few hours and take train back.
  19. I don't know if i was just lucky or not, but I had reserved a couple of activities on CocoCay on separate trips...I didn't show up to those and it was refunded back to me.
