  1. So is there any change to Vaccinated passengers? Still seems like we have to still pay for the Travel Auth and show proof of negative test. https://www.gov.bm/cruise-travel-authorisation
  2. A good deal can totally be offered, especially on less popular cruises/ships. I got one for my Freedom 3 nighter and just got offered to RU for my next one on Adventure for some sweet suite deals, but I am declining.
  3. Yep! And my 2023 cruise in Sept which was changed from Enchantment to Brilliance...they had first removed my OBC but then added it back in once it was set. So not sure if i just lucked out or it's a glitch in my favor but I have all my OBC's set.
  4. yes, still nothing to gmail either.
  5. So I got this message via Twitter, however still have not yet received any emails. Hey there, I'm sorry for the confusion. We had our invoices off for that ship to service some itineraries. I've sent an invoice now to both emails. (I had asked about my Brilliance (formerly Enchantment) cruise next year that I recently changed rooms.)
  6. Yeah i tried that but we were waiting and waiting and waiting.
  7. I have not been able to receive my cruise receipts/invoices from RCL for the past couple of weeks. I have emailed them, called them and tweeted them. I gave them 2 email addresses to try and both of them received nothing. I do get other promotional emails from RCL however. And yes, i've checked my spam, trash and bulk folders as well as to see if for some reason those emails were being blocked. Is anyone else having the same issue? Have you recently received your receipts?
  8. ok today I got my new Brilliance booking. They moved me from an Interior 8th floor to Interior 3rd floor Accessible room. I don't want to take an accessible room away from someone who needs it so I called and actually upgraded to a Balcony for this cruise. Might as well right, it's Alaska and I have a year to pay it off.
  9. hmm. I wish there was consistency. I've been finding that particular combo package is a cheaper option than buying internet and DBP separately and if it's not offered for my sailing, I will forego the bev package altogether. To me doesn't seem like a wise business option to not offer it.
  10. what was the occupancy on your cruise? seemed low from the video.
  11. Are they doing away with the Deluxe plus Voom packages? The only one that offered this option was for my October cruise, which I booked early. Now I look and it's not an option anymore. Similarly, it has not been offered on my December or 2023 cruise thus far. Are you guys seeing this option on your future cruises?
  12. Chris, so if you have $100 OBC on your seapass card, that can be used up first, correct? is that considered part of Room Account or Cash?
  13. thanks for this! I have been keeping track of prices myself and this helps as comparison. Here are the lowest prices I've received for past cruises: Unlimited Dining (UDP) 23.99 day or 166.99 7/night Voom Surf & Stream 1 13.99 The Key 16.99 Deluxe Beverage (DBP) 60.99 DBP and Voom S&S 72.99 Thrill Waterpark- full day 79.99 Coco Beach Club 150.99 Thrill and Cabana 599.00 Jetski 53.99 Zipline 50.00 Balloon 65.99
  14. did you not get an email about this change? it explains options in the email.
  15. Oh this scared me. I'm on Adventure in October and thought, Oh No, not another switch. But thankfully doesn't apply my sailing.
  16. Yea cruise planner shows sailing as canceled. I assume what amenities I purchased will be refunded and i'll have to purchase again. I hope I still get same deals.
  17. my planner says cruise canceled. I'm assuming the purchase I made for Enchantment will now be refunded and I'll have to do it again. I hope the prices are still same or better.
  18. Just got same email about Enchantment - Now it's Brilliance. I went to my cruise planner, still says Enchantment on first page, but then when you click into it, it says We're Disappointed Too, This Sailing has been canceled. Let's hope the cruise planner updates to reflect the new ship soon. Wondering if many will cancel this totally and give me an option to get a better room/price. Im a bit disappointed that I won't get to be on the Vision class. I have been on Jewel so assuming Brilliance is similar.
  19. just saw the email: ABOUT YOUR UPCOMING TRAVELS Dear Guest, The International Maritime Organization recently shared new speed regulations we must adhere to and as a result, we’ve repositioned some of our ships for our upcoming 2023/2024 season. Our original plan for Enchantment of the Seas was to offer sailings departing from Vancouver, British Columbia on April 3rd, 2023 and Sydney, Australia on October 23rd, 2023. Instead, Enchantment of the Seas will now continue offering sailings from Baltimore, Maryland through April 20th, 2023 and begin a European season with departures from Rome (Civitavecchia), Italy, Athens (Piraeus), Greece, and Venice (Ravenna), Italy starting May 15th, 2023, before making its way to Tampa, Florida in November 2023. Brilliance of the Seas will now take Enchantment’s place in Alaska and Australia and will offer similar itineraries! Starting July 28th, 2022, we’ll automatically move you to the new Brilliance of the Seas sailing departing on the same day as your original Enchantment of the Seas cruise. You’ll receive like-for-like accommodations onboard Brilliance of the Seas, and your amenities will remain the same. Your vacation is important to us. While we’re confident you’ll have an amazing time onboard Brilliance and enjoy many of the same features as Enchantment, we still want you to have the flexibility to make the best decision for you and those in your party. Below, we’ve outlined your options along with a few additional details. Option 1: Stay onboard the new Brilliance of the Seas cruise. We’ll automatically move you to the Brilliance of the Seas sailing departing on the same day as your original cruise. So, there’s nothing for you to do! Your new sailing will still offer the same beautiful ports as your original cruise, and it’ll depart from the same destination. We’ll move you to a like-for-like stateroom and your original stateroom category price will either be protected at your original cruise fare rate or reduced to the current cruise fare rate (whichever is lower). This excludes taxes, fees, gratuities, and other non-cruise fare items. If your booking was already paid in full and your cruise fare rate decreases, we’ll provide you with a refund for the difference. You can expect to receive your refund to your original form of payment within 14 business days after we move you. Kindly note, refund times may vary depending on your financial institution. Option 2: Re-book any other Royal Caribbean International sailing. If you prefer to re-book another sailing, we’ll waive any non-refundable deposit change fees. Please know, you’ll be responsible for any difference in pricing for your cruise fare, taxes, fees, gratuities, and other non-cruise fare items. If your booking was already paid in full and your cruise fare rate decreases, we’ll provide you with a refund for the difference. You can expect to receive your refund to your original form of payment within 14 business days after we move you. Kindly note, refund times may vary depending on your financial institution. Option 3: If you can’t find a new itinerary that works for you and choose to cancel, we’ll be sad to see you go. You’ll receive: A full refund of any paid portion of your cruise fare (including non-refundable deposits) and any pre-paid amenities to the original form of payment within 14 business days – some international banking and financial institutions may have a processing time of approximately 30 business days. If you used a Future Cruise Credit on this sailing, and you request a refund instead, we’ll refund any NEW funds paid above the certificate amount, and we’ll reinstate your original certificate. If you booked your airfare through Royal Caribbean International, it will be automatically refunded to you. However, if you booked on your own, please contact the service provider directly for your options with them. Please know, if you choose this option, we will not provide additional compensation. Please note, any Cruise Planner purchases for your original Enchantment of the Seas sailing will automatically be cancelled and refunded to your original form of payment. Feel free to re-book these items on your new ship and sail date. There are a lot of moving parts when it comes to shifting an entire season of sailings and rebooking all guests, so we ask for your patience as we work to make this process as easy as possible for you. All moves will be completed by August 18th, 2022, and we’ll send an updated reservation confirmation with your revised details to the email address on file as soon as your reservation has been completely updated with the pricing fully adjusted. If you decide to go with Option 2 or 3, please call us at 888-281-9344 or contact your Travel Advisor by August 18th, 2022. And know, hold times may be longer than usual. If we haven’t heard from you by August 18th, 2022, you’ll remain booked on the alternate Brilliance of the Seas sailing. If you have any questions, please contact your Travel Advisor immediately or contact us at: 1 888 281 9344 in the U.S. 1800 754 500 in Australia / 0800 102 123 in New Zealand In the UK only, by using our webchat service or by calling 0344 493 4005 All other countries, please visit http://www.royalcaribbean.com/contactus for your local Royal Caribbean International office phone number. Sincerely, Aurora Yera-Rodriguez AVP | Guest Experience Royal Caribbean International
  20. On Oasis, the best bartender ever, Anthony, made a Love Connection which is a lava flow with mango puree. Was very nice. He also made something that he called a Bob Marley?, it had 3 colors but not sure it was what a true BM drink has in it. Also the usual - mudslides, Miami Vice, frozen margaritas. I've seen that if you bring a banana to a bar, they can make something similar to a banana daiquiri, which I love. I'd love to hear others suggestions. I love a frozen drink.
  21. Super easy. I drive from Long Island and it took me 55 mins. Get there early, leave early. So convenient. Not sure how much a limo would cost, but im betting it's cheaper than driving and paying for the week.
  22. it would be nice to get this offer again as I have to pay off my next trip!
  23. I thought that the pre-paid gratuities not only includes those crew that you see and interact with but it also includes those back-of-house people you don't see every day. I will always prepay and then add extra to those who went above and beyond in cash. I also thought that the gratuities cost is the same price regardless of if you pay before or after. Either way I would never not tip. RC crew is the best.
  24. I honestly don't think that timeframe is going to be a problem if you do it day 1.
  25. October, December, May 2023 and Sept 2023.
