  1. Yes, I see the web page. Thanks for that - just nuts that we have to figure all this stuff out ourselves. I have several times found CDN government websites that contradict one another...imagine. My thoughts are (as a dual citizen who has crossed the border hundreds of times and several times since July) are that the wording just assumes you were in the U.S. My feeling is that if you took an approved PCR (or other molecular) test in Paris on Monday, flew to Detroit and crossed the border on Tuesday it would be perfectly fine. I would be shocked if they are looking at the location of the site more than the time and type of the test (and the result, of course).
  2. Curious about this part - “completed in the US”. Where is that quoted from? My guess would be that what matters most is when the test was taken (within 72 hours) and the TYPE of test (PCR or equivalent). What are you reading from that states it must be completed in the U.S. since as was noted you might simply be transiting the U.S. on your way home to Canada.
  3. As I wrote, the Crown and Anchor rep said the program continues through March and while on board your ship you will be contacted to arrange your departure test the day before you disembark. She took several minutes away from the phone to verify what she told me. I feel confident. If you are still concerned just give them a call and verify personally for yourself. Then you won't have to be stressed. I wrote down on paper the reps name, the day and time of my call and some notes about the conversation just in case their is an issue.
  4. I found the following on the section "View Set Sail Pass." Where are you sailing out of? Departure testing Unvaccinated children ages 2 to 11 will take a complimentary antigen test (PCR if required by the destination) onboard the day before their cruise ends for sailings 5 nights or longer. Complimentary COVID-19 testing is also available for vaccinated guests who need it for entry into their next destination. More information will be provided onboard.
  5. Don't be sorry - it is a good question. I was concerned too when I couldn't find it on the website. I am sailing on Dec. 30 and received my email last week - 45 days out I believe.
  6. I just called and spoke to a C & A rep - she told me that the return to Canada free testing program is continuing through March and although it might not be on the website it will be mentioned in the protocol email Royal sends for your individual cruise.

  8. I am on that sailing and that is how we are planning it. We won't get off at St. Kitts, but will book an excursion for Barbados. At the other two (Antigua and St. Martin) you can do what you want.
  9. Years ago I was with my son on a Med cruise and we were in an interior cabin in the very front of the ship. Waves that night were 15 feet - ship kept going up and then slamming down. Loved it.
  10. I made a name change last night and linked two accounts - I called the C & A customer service number @ 800- 526-9723 and got it worked out in about 10 minutes.
  11. We are on the Dec. 30th Allure (9 nights) and started with a GTY Ocean View for 2830, and seven drops later we have a GTY Balcony for 2199 - $631 less, one category up and 80+ more days to see what other good things happen. Also benefited from the 30 day before sailing final payment.
  12. We are sailing Allure on Dec. 30 of this year. We started with a GTY Oceanview and over the past two months have had 7 price drops along with the move to a GTY Balcony. Keep checking!!!!
  13. My wife and I are booked on the Allure for Dec. We will get our test at Shopper's on Wednesday, fly Thursday, and board the ship on Friday. Not sure yet how to arrange the return test - that has to be a PCR for our return to Canada, whereas we only need the antigen screen to fly and board outbound. Any suggestions or experiences would be welcome.
