Allure & Symphony get test cruise approval
LovetoCruise87 replied to smokeybandit's topic in Royal Caribbean News and Rumors
I agree with a post earlier. Royal should have just gone ahead and announced cancellations that would be caused by the test sailings instead of announcing the test cruises first. It's still a hard pill to swallow knowing your cruise is cancelled, but I would rather hear that first, than to be sitting in a black hole not hearing if my cruise is cancelled or not. -

Maybe I missed it port approval

Interesting. I just saw that last week the CDC gave Carnival the ok for test cruises out of Port Canaveral, Miami and Galveston. I would assume that RC has already been given the ok for Port Canaveral as well. -
True. I find it interesting that the minutes stated this: PROCEEDINGS: SETTLEMENT CONFERENCE HELD (VIA ZOOM) Settlement conference is continued to Tuesday, June 1, 2021. Settlement conferences are different from mediation in that settlement conferences are usually shorter and typically have fewer roles for participation of the parties or for consideration of non-legal interests. Maybe they are getting close to finishing this thing off.

According to the CDC: The cruise ship operator must ensure all volunteer passengers have either: Proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 using an U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-authorized vaccine or a vaccine product that has received emergency use listing from the World Health Organization (WHO); or If not fully vaccinated, written documentation from a healthcare provider or self-certified statement that the volunteer passenger has no medical conditions that would place the volunteer at high risk for severe COVID-19 as determined through CDC guidance. -
Mine would have to be a speed boat ride/tour at Charlotte Amalie. Great ride and we got plenty wet in the process.

Two ships collided. One was carrying a load of red paint, the other a load of blue paint. All the passengers were marooned.
