  1. Plus, Royal still has to conduct test cruises for the CDC don't they? That will take longer than 3 weeks to conduct. Adventure cruises are set to begin in 3 weeks, and are a revenue booster. Am I wrong?
  2. I certainly pray you are right! I am really looking forward to our Adventure cruise!
  3. The Bahama Health website requires you to list the vaccine lot #s (as listed on your card) as well as the address and phone of the medical facility that gave you the vaccine. If they or RCI wanted to, I suppose they could call and ask if your card is real. ?
  4. I got mine two weeks ago for our July cruise. I paid $45 USD. I am fully vaccinated so no C19 test needed.
  5. I received that notice as an email. The app does work for me though. Perhaps try deleting then reinstalling?
  6. Please report back if the CDC responds. I’d love to see how they try to defend their actions.
  7. I don’t mind getting tested prior, during or after the cruise. I DO mind wearing a mask outside in a lounge chair or while dining, though. I sincerely hope Royal does not follow the CDC guidelines that are unreasonable and no longer supported by science.
  8. This is interesting too: The surgeon general also stated that Florida residency will no longer be a requirement for vaccination in the state. He said any person currently in Florida who meets FDA guidelines will be eligible to get vaccinated “to ensure no COVID-19 vaccines are wasted.” This tells me that crew members can get vaccinated pretty easily.
  9. Remember, a lot of people (some estimate 40-50%) have had COVID. Not everyone needs to get a vaccine in order to have immunity - and achieve herd immunity. I don't get a flu vaccine if I have already had the flu.
  10. Are you saying the RCI system will allow you to purchase a DX if the person is under the legal drinking age? I’m a little confused. On other cruise lines it won’t allow you to. It “asks” if you want to purchase one of the other packages for them. Thanks for clarifying.
  11. Right. Normally it would automatically default to one of the other packages if the child is under the legal drinking age.
  12. We are booked on the Adventure July 17, 2021 cruise out of Nassau. The drinking age in the Bahamas is 18. My 19 year old daughter was able to purchase the Deluxe Beverage Package which appears to state 18+ (See Photo). Also, on the all-inclusive beach day excursion it states that guests must be 18 to drink. My guess is that because the ship’s home port is now Nassau, they can follow the laws there.
  13. I have noticed that that is common with NCL and Princess too. I agree, it is a PITA, especially if you booked your children.
  14. I have not sailed on RCI for ten years, but the fact that I can't see everything purchased like excursions, drink packages and gifts purchased all in one place is frustrating. On NCL it lists all items included and purchased on a summary page. With RCI I have to toggle between My Calendar and Order History. I still can't see where my gifts are listed though. I bought wine for the stateroom. ?
  15. Question: I am not seeing the Gift I ordered (Champagne) under my Orders or Calendar. Where would that show up? I just want to make sure it is accounted for. Thanks for any insight.
  16. Thank you for clarifying. What’s odd is that I was unable to select My Time Dining when I booked. For some reason it told me that it was not an option. Granted, I just booked the July 17, 2021 Adventure cruise. Perhaps I was too late and the My Time Dining was full?
  17. Newby question here. I am on the Adventure July 2021 sailing and purchased the Unlimited Dining Package and had to select a time (6pm) which is earlier than I wanted, but oh well. Do I still book the restaurants and times online or do I have to wait until I board? I ask because it still wants me to pay. ?? Any info on this? It is very confusing.
