I would say it was pretty good most of the time. There were 2 wifi outages during the cruise, but they were probably just ironing some stuff out. The speed was around 3mbps so you should be able to run a zoom with no problems: https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/201362023-Zoom-system-requirements-Windows-macOS-Linux#:~:text=3.5 or higher-,Bandwidth requirements,-The bandwidth used

Drive through test for family
jack168 replied to Wanderlust876's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
Yes, I did Walgreens with a group of 5 people. You do need to book individual appointments with different time slots, but you can all show up at the same time in one vehicle and they'll just test everyone at once. -

From Matt's blog today: https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/#:~:text=First Royal Caribbean ship to reach 100% capacity So, this could all change due to the higher capacity. -
Yes, drinks with 2 shots officially count as 2 punches, but it really depends on the crew member serving you.

Totally forgot about this thread, but we used Costco and no problems at all. Also since it's part of the pharmacy, no membership required.

Testing and cruise cancelation insurance
jack168 replied to Cruiser58's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
Royal currently has some excellent policies. If you test positive before the cruise, you get a full refund. If you test positive during the cruise, you get a pro-rated refund. Any medical and transportation costs are covered as well. https://www.royalcaribbean.com/faq/questions/if-i-test-positive-for-sars-cov-2-what-is-your-refund-policy-and-costs-covered -

Wonder of the seas laser tag or escape room onboard ?
jack168 replied to DJ VINCE's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
From some live blogs on cruise critic, laser tag is up and running. Not sure about the escape room though, but somebody onboard can probably answer. -
Terminal A

Not currently on wonder, but here's a screenshot from a room tour youtube video. The golden room is described as a "nonsmoking boutique gaming experience"

I just noticed that Costco (in Canada) has rapid testing for travel for $16, which is cheaper than shoppers drug mart. Has anyone tried using this option? I assume it is essentially the same as shoppers.
-
Nope, it's just like a regular central park balcony but with an extra balcony. I think there's some mechanical stuff for the living wall and they couldn't fit another room there.
-
On Oasis, there are large central park view balconies for the price of a regular central park view balcony. It's not listed anywhere on the deck plans. https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/2016/05/11/secret-royal-caribbean-staterooms-extra-large-oasis-of-the-seas-balconies

Covid test for Canadians flying back same day
jack168 replied to Suzie's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
Testing for re-entry into Canada is 72 hours before your flight. Before, there was complimentary testing onboard for those who needed it, but that has been discontinued. Now, there is paid testing outside the terminal by a 3rd party provider, after you disembark (no paid testing onboard). However, it's pretty expensive. The best option for you would probably be to get a test at the airport. -
I believe that was during the peak of omicron and it was because the some of the performers had to isolate. It should be back to normal grease now.

Ooh what if they add the seat pads to the Aquatheatre as well
-
From the Royal TikTok page. Looks like they've added some comfy seat pads to the movie screen viewing area. Also, a sneek peek of the Ultimate Family Suite.

Didn't Wonder arrive when it was dark? Or am I missing something. (skip to 3:20)
