I am curious to see what happens with this... Whatever gets us back to cruising the fastest is my preference.

Plus, Royal still has to conduct test cruises for the CDC don't they? That will take longer than 3 weeks to conduct. Adventure cruises are set to begin in 3 weeks, and are a revenue booster. Am I wrong?
This is true. They won't start until July either. My initial thought is they may cancel the August/September sailings for Adventure and move her to the U.S. if it makes sense financially. I noticed the prices decrease as you move into August which could mean more availability which means less revenue.
As an example, my June 12th cruise was roughly $2200 for balcony, but the same room September 4th is $1450.

I'm hoping this is good news. Time will tell.
I'm also wondering about the Bahamas Adventure sailings. I know they've sold better than Vision, but if the US really does open up, do they re-deploy?
This is my question as well. I will feel much better when we can do check in and receive the health protocols and rules.

I am curious if the CSO will be updated this week and that is what Royal Caribbean is waiting for. This news points to yes. I am still unsure if I would be willing to cruise from the U.S. with all of the CDC rules that are still in place, but if the CSO is updated and it seems doable, I am down. I hope they do not cancel the adventure cruises!
I highly doubt that cruises out of Florida will require vaccines. My thought on that is having everybody vaccinated reduces the risk of the cruise being interrupted by an outbreak to almost 0. If we can ensure that risk is minimum for cruises with unvaccinated passengers, I am good with it.

I'm not overly concerned about fake vax cards on a cruise ship. And even if there are some, it really doesn't matter if you yourself are vaccinated.
Agreed! That is what keeps me comfortable going on a cruise.

Super exciting! Hopefully Royal mirrors this... that will be amazing
It is still interesting to see them taking the CDC recommendations into account since they are not sailing out of the U.S. but hey, whatever works.

Hopefully this is good news but I won't hold my breath. Thankful every day I booked my June 12 adventure of the seas cruise.

The CDC wrote this back in November, before there were vaccines .... it just made it out of all the committees and working groups required to sign off on it. It might be slightly obsolete but dont worry the recommendations from the group that met in December should be voted on shortly and we can see what they came up with
That is just sad. At least it makes me not regret booking a Nassau cruise!

I'd love to hear more about this... it almost seems like nothing has happened...

Excited for this announcement!

Just two currently. June 12 on Adventure and February 12, 2022 on Harmony. Hoping 2022 cruise goes out...

Ill watch it just to see. Thanks for the heads up!

Royal Caribbean SVP Vicki Freed said last week a free test will be provided for guests onboard at the end of the sailing.
Great news! I was wondering about this.

Southwest A-List myself but in these wonky times flying in the day of the cruise and with rapidly changing rules for international travel I'm sticking with A2S even if Southwest returns to Nassau.
Also A-List with companion pass. I am hoping they return service to Nassau soon but will most likely go with Air2Sea for the convenience.

Waiting anxiously!!
