The check-in time, while supposed to be a fixed time, is really just a "no earlier than" time and even just a suggestion. Just go enjoy your day and show up at the port when you're ready to board. Yes, there are a couple owner's suites still open. My upgrade price (currently in a GS) is $500 ($250x2) I don't see any 2 BR GS open, but those rarely are this late.

This is true. Newer phones will ask you "should wifi stay on in airplane mode?" the first time you do that sequence.
