  1. First off for self assist Navigator was 7:50am 10:30 check in time doesn't necessarily mean boarding time. It may end up meaning "check in and sit and wait"
  2. Since these type of changes tend to cause domino effects with the other lines, I'll be curious if NCL/Carnival mirror the staggered approach or they go all out right away
  3. Of my 4 cruises, masking varied between maybe 5% and 20%, with the 20% being Alaska out of Vancouver.
  4. Certainly. But that will continue to be the case with or without pre-cruise testing. I hope RC gives some more expanded info (ie, this is just phase 1) and data (ie, X percent of booked passengers test positive prior to a cruise) to support why they picked 5 nights as the cutoff.
  5. I wonder what kind of trial balloon this is. Surely they're going to get a lot of feedback from higher C&A status people that avoid the short cruises.
  6. The article also suggests there won't be an adult vaccine requirement anymore "This means that we're transitioning to the point where everyone will be able to vacation with us while always working with our destination partners to meet their regulations. "
  7. Starting Aug. 8, testing will be required for unvaccinated guests on all voyages and for vaccinated guests only on voyages that are six nights or longer. " Kind of a disappointing change. 8. All else the same annual would definitely be more cost effective than per trip insurance
  9. It's highly unlikely any significant protocol change would have filtered down to reservation staff before it was formally announced.
  10. I'd say it's a losing deal, but, nothing on your original itinerary was super great. Not like you're losing the ABCs for that new trip.
  11. Actually in some US states it's legal to drink under the age of 21, with some caveats, even if it's still illegal for them to buy alcohol.
  12. The loophole was using the Bahamas rules to then require a vax for all passengers
  13. In the past they've given refund and the ability to switch to similar sailings when this happens
  14. Matt does a video about everything! Well except for how he pilots the ship. Or how to win a million dollars at the casino. Or how to eat too much and still lose weight on a cruise. But just about everything
  15. But if there was no adventure ocean, there'd be more kids running around the various decks. So you indirectly benefit
  16. It's whatever we forgot as we go over our lists one last time.
  17. Your bid confirmation email has a "modify" link that'll show that.
  18. If it was an adult daughter and they were picky about the check-in times at your given port, that's one thing. But your minor daughter? Yeah, both of you go at 11.
