  1. When you do order the next night's meal, always have a backup (app and entree) that you know can be made GF, such as the fruit and cheese plate (yes, this is a dessert, but you can order as an app) or spaghetti. Most of the time they can make what you want GF, but sometimes they can't (and unfortunately this varies by ship/chef). If that next day the waiter says "sorry, can't do that, what's your next choice?" you're already prepared.
  2. It's quite easy as noted above. Just never be shy about asking for a manager if you don't get a specific question answered, especially in the Windjammer. In the MDR, most dishes they can make gluten free, including chicken cordon bleu on French Night and fish and chips on UK night.
  3. I don't believe this is true. You still have to log into the app to get to the chat feature.
  4. That's an awful price then. Right now for my next 8 nighter in June, the 1/4 plan is $455, and that's at a crappy sale price, too.
  5. Is that the 1 person, 4 devices plan or the 4 person, 1 device each plan? The single user, multiple device plan tends to be a lot cheaper.
  6. If you want to do anything internet-related other than using the RC app or booking a cruise, you'll need to get Voom.
  7. It's actually a courtesy to yourself as it helps the crew sort faster and get you your bags faster.
  8. Because they have too many ships that need to go there.
  9. Click the person icon, then click "Select a different cruise" Then on that screen at the bottom is "Don't see your cruise? Let's add it now" Then you can add the cruises for those in your group.
  10. You can do it in the app. You go to your cruise list and at the bottom "let's add it now"
  11. There have never been two cabin stewards for any suite I've been in. Just you get 2x per day service.
  12. Schedule releases have been coming out around 2-3z on the Wednesday of that week.
  13. April is my check-in month, which is a minor holiday of sorts.
  14. I assume you could go to guest services and put some cash down on each account.
  15. Matt would never turn down free champagne. Even if it meant free champagne from a Carnival subsidiary.
  16. Easier to say "we finished early" than to apologize for being late.
  17. Gotta think there was a lot more brewing in this man's life than an impulse moment.
  18. Well now we wait and see how long it takes for RC to cancel the lifetime drink package. Say $70 per day for a package (plus 18%), that's about 1200 days of cruising. So after about 172 seven night cruises he'd basically pay it off. Piece of cake.
  19. Before the menu change they had Osso Buco on the holiday menu. Loved it. I have no issue with the new menus but that turkey dinner reminds me of an old school microwaved TV dinner.
  20. And T&C seems limited in which ships can go there since I don't think anything bigger than Voyager class has stopped there.
