  1. I’m not one for buoyancy, but whatever floats your boat…
  2. The reason why Swedish naval ships display bar codes on their hulls is so that, when they return to harbour, they can Scandinavian
  3. Why did the admiral decide against buying a new hat? He was afraid of cap sizing.
  4. Been to the rock formation. There's a narrow path you must climb through to make it to the top. Tough for some people to handle. The exit path has a set of stairs back down.
  5. Definitely far more at Coco Cay.
  6. I had the same question....it appears if 95% of the boarding guests affirms vaccination status, Celebrity accepts that information as satisfying the 2B requirement. For those that affirm vaccination status but do not provide proof - must go through additional testing and subject to stricter on-board protocols during the voyage. Seems to thread the needle, but does it really?
  7. How much could be due to current desire to increase spacing between passengers and reduce crowding? Couldn't the perks change back in time after enough have voiced a negative opinion?
  8. Also the Royal app will provide information on what's open and when. So a handy tool when looking to find something to eat.
  9. Quantum experience has shown the protocols work. As we're still under CSO - the 95% guideline cannot be authenticated pre-cruise, as no-proofers are treated s unvaccinated (from a protocol perspective not counting perspective). I'm not sure how the arithmetic will count guests to get to the 95%. 500 guests show up - 400 volunteer and show proof, 100 affirm vaccination with no proof. Is that 80% or 100% per the count methodology ? I'm guessing Celebrity would count it as 100% (even though there's a different rule set for no proofers). I'm not against this, I'm not sure will satisfy the federal rule. I'm sure its gone through all sorts of company legal review, and hopefully coord with FL authorities that this is compliant. Guess we'll know if or when the sailings occur.
  10. Celebrity is employing a creative approach to satisfy both federal and state restrictions to support restart. Still holding to the 95% target for passengers, but passengers will need to provide proof, or be handled (assumed) as not vaccinated. How do you really know if the 95% rule is met? You either voluntarily provide info, if not and you say you are, but don't have proof, you're treated as an unvaccinated passenger. My passengers said so? Interesting approach, and I'm not against creative solutions. "Non-proofers" will need to take a test prior to boarding, and be treated differently on-board (masks, excursion limits etc). What if there's a case or 2 that breaks out? Doesn't that risk tanking the entire line, if not the industry who go down the "honor system" path? I like the innovation - not sure the optics are right to play the game. Leaning forward....
  11. Excellent. Wonder if they'll add a Millennium canal booking so they don't dead head to west coast/Seattle. Could add a Panama Canal stopping in Long Beach, then a CA coast run from LA to Seattle stopping in MX, Monterrey and SF if they can get port agreements.
  12. Better chance of winning with less people playing ?
  13. What's the airfare look like? Does the Canadian ban expire in Feb '22 or is it open ended?
  14. Lately it seems that Fed supremacy has been sustained over border states that have tried to levy laws to control immigration flow over their borders.
  15. If this gets kicked back to Congress, I don't believe they're motivated to do anything quickly. Would probably debate on until 1 Nov rolls around.
  16. Good to see you back on-line! We followers were missing your posts.
  17. Its good seeing your posts again... Been too long.
  18. The worst they could do is cancel it.
  19. It is gone! Maybe why the area was in disrepair.
  20. It was an Alaskan sailing and we participated in the "King Crab Feast" which was also disappointing (quality and service). As part of the Revolution upgrade, Michaels club was converted to the Retreat. The area was very nice but the service model changed to be more self service. Staff would just ensure the small buffet was stocked , and didn't provide table service for drinks etc. We asked the Retreat concierge, and were told that was the "new" approach - self service. Still thought the bar staff was great, they just didn't provide service anymore. They also installed a self serve beverage cooler with both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages (open 24 hrs). When we sailed the Edge, the service was more to our liking from a traditional expectation - no not sure if it was just a crew issue on that ship. The ship also had issues with some of the spas - wouldn't hold temps and ran them cold (on an Alaskan cruise). Needless to say, it was reflected in our review. Lots of other nits, not up to our usual experience on a Celebrity ship.
  21. We sailed M after the Revolution upgrade and we dined in it. But we were very disappointed in the state of the room and furnishings. Seemed the corridors leading to it was left "undone". One of the reasons we were soured on that ship.
  22. Has the carpet, tables, decor and area around Murano Tuscan been updated? Hadn't been after Revolution upgrade when we sailed her (and looked pretty tired) so hoping they did it over the downtime.
