  1. Yet again another lie from RC. My refund was processed, per the email I got from RC, on March 14th. It is now April 20th and no refunds anywhere in sight, nor is my future cruise credit. They are stalling and making up any excuse they can along the way. Quite frankly, what pisses me off about this situation is people on the later cancellations are receiving their refunds and FCC before people on the original round of cancellations. I am calling today again to figure out where my money is, I'm starting to wonder if my FCC was processed and never emailed to me as I have read that happened to a few other people also.
  2. I believe you are correct in that. However, whatever refund date they are saying or tell you on the phone, add an additional 30 days. They have made it quite clear they have no intention to give anybody their money back by the dates they say.
  3. Expect to wait for that as well. What good is cancelling if you aren't gonna get the refund from it anyway? They supposedly processed my cruise planner purchases on March 14th and still nothing in my account. At this rate, this will be my last time ever sailing with Royal Caribbean. The way they have handled this situation is an absolute joke.
  4. Good luck, you will likely be waiting a while. A lot of us who cancelled or were cancelled on before March 14th still haven’t received anything. Their system is so backlogged it is insane.
  5. What others told me is that your deposit will be shifted to port fees and taxes and the leftover deposit amount, if any, will be refunded. FCC does not cover port fees or taxes.
  6. Called today regarding my refund since I had to add a name to my December reservation anyway. My cruise was for Enchantment on March 16th. I called and cancelled on the phone on March 12th, however it appears they did not cancel my cruise when I called as according to two customer service agents my cruise was not cancelled until March 14th, AKA the day that Royal voluntarily cancelled. The representative I spoke to today confirmed that it was canceled on March 14th, so I should be receiving my Cruise planner refunds today or tomorrow, but to give them until the end of the week to show in my account. She also said that my refund for the taxes/fees will be in the account by the end of the week, again to call on Monday if the refund isn't there. As far as FCC, the first round of cancellations should still have the FCC today at some point. Sit tight everyone. Maybe we will all have our refunds and FCC's by the end of the week. The good news is the current hold time is only about 10 minutes if you need to call them.
  7. Have those of you that received FCC gotten your refunds as well? Is the refund date supposed to be the same as the FCC day (today, 4/14)?
  8. Yes. I received the itemized email for the cruise planner purchases stating my refund had been processed. Still no refund back to my credit card. The email came in March14th.
  9. I got that email a month ago for my 3/16 Enchantment cruise and still have not received any refunds.
  10. Me too. I am now over 30 days from when their system cancelled my reservation per their representative I spoke to. I will call on Wednesday and see where my refund and FCC is.
  11. Nope, booked through Royal directly. This is getting ridiculous.
  12. April 13th is here and still no refund on my credit cards or any FCC.
  13. What is interesting in my case is I called and cancelled 3/11, however did not receive notice until 3/14/2020 for the cruise planner cancellation which was after they cancelled the cruise completely (3/13/2020). This leads me to believe my cancellation was actually not put through by Royal whenever I called. I did receive an email stating my cruise was cancelled and I would receive the 125% FCC, confirmed this with a representative after Royal Caribbean said if you cancelled under Cruise with Confidence you were not eligible (They looked at my account and said my cruise was cancelled effective 3/13/20, the same day as RC canceled voluntarily). I then received an email 3/25/2020 saying that if you canceled with Cruise with Confidence, the booking was recorded as cancelled and you will not receive the 125%. At this point it is a waiting game. As long as I receive the refunds and the 100% FCC I am happy. The extra 25% would just be an added bonus.
  14. I also cancelled on March 11th, still nothing on my end.
  15. Spoke with RC today and they said everything is delayed due to the mass amount of cancellations and that we can expect refunds within 30 days of cancellation, so I guess April 13th will be the day most of us get our refunds
  16. From their email: General Refunds/Reimbursements: Most refunds take 5-7 business days + the time it takes your bank to post to your account. If you have not received your refund by March 30th, please reach out to us.
  17. We shouldn’t have to wait 30 days for a refund for cruise planner purchases when they said it was instant. People are receiving FCC before others even receive their original refunds back. That is an issue.
  18. I don't understand what is taking them so long. Quite frankly, it is pretty frustrating. Hopefully they can provide an explanation over the phone tomorrow.
  19. Still haven’t received a refund for cruise planner purchases or taxes and fees from a cruise I cancelled on March 11th. Anyone else in the same boat?
  20. Nope. 30 days is if you choose a refund over FCC under their new deal. Refunds for purchases like drink packages/the excess was supposedly instant. Still have not received any kind of refund other than the email.
  21. Is the best way to request upgrades to constantly watch for the prices to go down to what you paid and call once it gets down to that level? Just curious. My cruise isn't until December now after rescheduling my March cruise.
  22. I would also like to add that whenever I rebooked last night, there was an option to pay via FCC on the booking. Not sure if that is something they added or not, but the option was there to enter a FCC code to redeem while booking.
  23. I confirmed with Royal Caribbean via Facebook messenger and they confirmed that the deposit will be shifted towards taxes and fees once the FCC is applied.
  24. I called Wednesday 3/11/20, called to confirm 3/12/20 and confirmed via Facebook messenger 3/13/20. I received my refund for the drink packages and wifi on 3/15/20, which is after they made the announcement, which is why I was curious if they ever actually got my cancellation put through.
