  1. Beach club cabanas have stayed the same on our sailing at $1049 and South beach at $999! Chill Island cabanas went down from $799 to $599 a week ago. All cabanas still available. With the significant price jump in club passes, $799 looks like a bargain if you have just a few people in your group! However I heard that their view isn't great as it's mostly over the water cabana views vs open beach and it's not near the water. Pretty much almost all of the prices have stayed the same for the CoCoCay excursions on my sailing except the waterpark pass which goes up and down the most and the helium balloon with minor ups and downs.
  2. I've been monitoring pricing constantly and saw that jump this morning as well. It went to $93.99 a week ago, sold out and then jumped to $199 this morning (still sold out). People have been reporting the same jump on many different sailings from what I can see. I was already seeing that people thought that the $93 price was too high per person so curious about the pricing! Wonder if it was selling out on a lot of days so they decided to raise prices or if the Beach Club Cabanas weren't selling well so this is to push people to book those instead for the cost savings on the club passes.
  3. For age restricted activities such as bumper cars (age 5), I'm wondering if the child has a birthday during the cruise if they could participate in that event for the duration of the whole week? Or if they have to wait until the actual day? I am assuming the latter but curious if anyone had an age restriction lifted before or it's a no in all cases.
  4. Regardless if you are on land or sea, pushing rudely past someone is inappropriate and shows a clear lack of manners. If they truly thought it's a seat yourself situation, wouldn't one point that out to someone who looks like they're standing in line waiting to be seated?
  5. Sounds amazing!! Here's hoping they bring the tiered platter for a picture! I've seen pictures where they just put the content of the tower just on 3 different regular plates.
  6. That looks fantastic! Thank you for the photos so far! I heard the minis cheesecakes there were really good too! Looking forward to having my kids go here to pick out their desserts themselves from the display case.
  7. I've seen a lot of pictures from multiple ships that have a sticker on it that says that it's a cooler and not a fridge. I've also seen a couple that say freon on the inside label which means it's a fridge but I heard that's rarer. There are mini refrigerators that they have on the ship designed for medical purposes that you can request as the previous poster mentioned. There's an email address that you can contact as well as the request. The email is [email protected] or I found the online form: https://www.royalcaribbean.com/resources/guest-special-needs. They ask "In order to provide you with the best accessible cruise experience possible, please submit the Guest Special Needs Form at time of booking but no later than 30 days prior to sailing, except for sign language interpreting requests which must be submitted 60 days prior to sailing. This will allow us to make the necessary arrangements for your requested accommodations."
  8. I would normally do an excel spreadsheet but not sure how formatting would show up here. I really appreciate all of the suggestions! Hoping to try everything at least once! If you decide to try some of these recommended food or drink items be aware that I didn't put the ship name as not all of these venues may be on your ship. I'll try to add it all to one list periodically as more recommendations come in so it's easier to find them all! 9. I too thought that it’s not a suite perk. At least not on the ships I’m looking at.
  10. Oh wow!!! I just put so many more things on my radar to try! Thank you!!! I‘m on Anthem but would love to know about favorites on all ships! don’t want to get off a ship and realize I missed my chance to try something! I just looooove to eat!
  11. Yes but seems like it’s not that readily available or the best! ? I’ll have to look through more live blogs!
  12. I think I’ve read that the red velvet cake is something definitely not to be missed on the Liberty! Not sure if it’s the same cake on other ships but pretty sure it was a Liberty blog.
  13. Ohh! That sounds super refreshing! I will ask for it definitely! Any sushi rolls in particular that were memorable to you?
  14. I’d love to amass a list of recommended/ favorite dishes for places on board the ships! I’ve been gleaning comments from threads here and there so far. I love to try new foods and drinks and would love to hear your favorites and attempt to try them all! Hopefully others can do the same! So far I’ve seen people recommend the mushroom fettuccine at Jamie’s, the world dessert from Wonderland, Italian hot dogs from the hot dog places, hibachi from Izumis, the football helmet Dessert from playmakers, seafood tower from chops, filet from CK, Bahama mama and cucumber martini from the bars! What are your must try or most memorable dishes from any of the places on board the ship? Item/ ship/ and the places to get it please!
  15. I heard she has a lot of pull on the ship. That pretty much anything you ask for gets done!
  16. Have fun!! Please come back to let us know how everything went and with a review of Romina!! I just got her as my Genie and haven't really found any reviews of her on the ship besides that she's new.
  17. ? We could only justify it by forgoing/ pooling multiple gift day budgets for the year or more to live it up in that one week! Also haven't taken a vacation for about 3-4 years now so I think we're overdue! I've learned so much from this forum so very thankful for that. Trying to pay attention and remember all of the SC tips for Anthem out of Bayonne! Thanks for the reminder! I'm genuinely terrified of doing that as I don't want to come off rude to the porters. I'm also terrified of any comments or looks we may get about cutting in front of the line anywhere but really want to take advantage of that since we will have such a short window of time away from the kids to do anything like North Star or Bumper cars. Heard that since it's a lot of NY/ NJ folks on sailings out of Cape Liberty they tend to be on the more vocal side about that and I don't have tough skin.
  18. Thanks! I think @WAAAYTOOO has mentioned the tip about keeping luggage with you at all times until meeting the Genie so wanted to make sure that the left lane wasn't an express to get to the garage since we wouldn't be needing to drop off any luggage. I know now that right lane all the way no matter what ?
  19. Just wanted to clarify if that lane is to drop luggage off? I don't want to drop anything off. Can I go in the left lane to get to the parking garage?
  20. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post a link to another blog site but if you google "Independence of the Seas 1102" it will come up and they posted pictures of this rooms balcony. They mentioned there's slight echo of the noise from the Solarium but besides that, it's private and very nice with the enclosed view.
  21. I googled and found that Wonderland has their own yelp review page! The reviews coupled with the pictures may help you decide on some dishes: https://www.yelp.com/biz/wonderland-bayonne
  22. Makes sense ? For some reason I thought it was maybe a thin overlay of magnetic material over the walls, not the walls themselves. Thanks so much!
  23. Do all of the rooms have magnetic walls? Including suites and loft rooms?
  24. No, it is available for anyone. https://www.royalcaribbean.com/faq/questions/what-are-the-benefits-of-the-key-program
