We did an 8 night and I agree it did feel considerably longer than just a day.  

I checked and they offer service in the Calgary area. Worse case I will use it to book a ride home for Reyd from the bar.

Yeah I am pretty sure we were on the 10th.  I should have mentioned that the pool was not ground level and to consider that when choosing your room.  They can select your room if you check in through the app.  I called them to find out what floor/room they recommended before making my selection.

First drink on board!

Boarding was super smooth. No delays. From the time we arrived to room was about 30mins. Luggage arrived shortly afterwards. 
The announcement for rooms being open was at 1pm.
