Why does Royal keep delaying the repatriation efforts?

They need to be strict here as we have more cases of Coronavirus here than anywhere else in the US.

I apologize if this has been asked before. We currently have a Med cruise scheduled for Nov. 2020. We aren't planning on going. We were going to wait a little longer to see if RCL cancels. Otherwise, we were going to cancel. In any case, we were planning on taking FCC and rescheduling to June 2021 Alaska. If for some reason that cruise is cancelled, would we only have til Dec. 2021 to use the FCC or would the new cancellation extend the time period for the expiration of the FCC?

I should add that I am booked on an amazing 12 day cruise on the Jewel in the Med in November but it most likely will be cancelled.

I loved sailing on the Harmony. She is a wonderful ship but have also heard good things about the Oasis. The Broadway style show on the Harmony was Grease whereas on the Oasis it's Cats. Harmony has Sabor Mexican which we enjoy. Oasis has Port side BBQ which Matt raved about.

Carnival has cancelled all of its European sailings for 2020.

I would think that they would be up and running for Christmas at least.

Does your friend think they will have Med cruises if cruising doesn't start until August?

Hoping for choice A

I am scheduled to take a bucket list Holy Land Cruise on November 2nd out of Rome (Civi). I heard Matt say over the weekend that the European cruise Season is in jeopardy and someone else as well. Even if they can sail in Europe for 60-90 days, that would still put us at May/June which is really peak season in Europe. Why would they cancel the whole season? Would they just put all ship's in the Caribbean? What do you think my chances are for my November cruise? I would be severely bummed if cancelled. Wouldn't mind if they changed embarkation port from Rome to Athens.

You are traveling in October. Odyssey will have the seaplex so that ship is better in cool weather for kids.

I agree with Way too. Enjoy the sea days on the Oasis plus I love Cozumel.

Would sail Celebrity before doing Virgin this year. Virgin is a brand new line and I would wait a while for them to work out the kinks. I have sailed Celebrity and wouldn't hesitate to sail them again.

Have you checked out sister line Celebrity?

I would suggest Adventure of the Seas since it stops in Bermuda and still is a major upgrade from the Empress and Grandeur.

No, I know that. I am just thinking that depending where they decide to reposition Jewel for the winter could affect the November Holy Land sailings plus the fact that the cruise still has plenty of unsold cabins.
