I rcvd my set sail pass with a 1pm embarkation time... I've never had to board that late but I've also never been on an oasis class ship we will be on the Allure of the Seas September 29th/Ft Lauderdale...should I just go ahead and be at the port at 10:30 and see if they'll let me on???

We use this. I don’t like the pill cases because we’ve dropped them and had them pop open and end up with pills everywhere.

Age is only a number. I would rather be on 8 wheels than 2 blades.  I have a titanium: knee, hip, and shoulder. If I fall I`m going to be fine.  The floor on the hand is going to have a dent or too. LOL  HAHA  I will be 69 in July and don`t feel or act like it.  We will be on Anthem in September and YES I will be roller skating.  If i am able to get on board after the metal detector lights up like a Xmas tree.

They serve REAL FAKE MAPLE SYRUP.  Otherwise the drink package prices would be much higher. Just think before you know it most items in the Windjammer will be a la carte . Was told no grape due to stains are hard to remove.

We use our hooks for the following:  holding sea pass cards/lanyards when we come in the door, holding compass, drying bathing suits, holding various paperwork that comes through your cabin during your cruise (I'm sure they kill a forest for each cruise - makes me crazy), hanging goggles so they don't get lost, and just general miscellaneous stuff that I don't want sitting on the counter.
We travel with our two boys, so there is always a mountain of things that I'm trying to get off the counters/desk, etc.  The hooks help me maintain my sanity as I allocate one for each person - it helps with the clutter.
We also use an over-the-door hanger for shoes (4 people, 7 days = a ridiculous number of shoes), and sunscreen, sunglasses, etc.  Also really helps a lot with de-cluttering.

It's not really how much you've spent (i.e., lost), it's how much you've cumulatively bet, which is a whole different thing. If you are like the OP and bet $50 a hand at blackjack, you could bet a total of $2,500-$3,000 while only being out of pocket for $500 or $1,000 if your play is good, you have some decent luck (and all good table mates who also know proper betting strategy!), and you can manage to win a fair bit more often than you lose.
On the other hand, you could be a blackjack player like me and be out of pocket for $300 in 20 minutes!

We don't gamble at all but if that's what you have to spend in the casino then it's not really a discount is it?

As I said sometimes I spend that much but also win... On Allure last summer I started with $3,000 but walked away with $10,000 at the end of the week so I won $7,000 net. I got a free balcony stateroom on that sailing and $7,000 so to me it was worth it.
