Whatever the ship they're putting in Galveston,  I just wonder why they're so late to announce it. 

A few but February and March have no 4 day cruises yet. Normally they would have been released months ago. 

Does anyone have any idea when RC will come out with short cruises from Galveston for the first half of 2026? This is the latest I can remember. 

Does anyone know the current cruise director on Apex?

We tip-as-we-go ALWAYS.  That is the only thing that really works for us.  You NEVER know if you will see the person again who has served you so tip while you can and forget about it.  I canNOT control what happens to the money once I leave it on the table or, in some cases, give it directly to a server.  That is beyond my control.  I do what I should do - I tip - what happens after that is none of my business.  I trust that they have an equitable process worked out where those who need to get tipped, will.  If they do not, frankly, it's not my problem.

I'm curious to know what others do since I always feel awkward whatever we do. In Coastal Kitchen,  I have left tips after each meal but with so many people serving you, I don't know who gets it. I've tried tipping at the end of the cruise but end up missing a lot of servers. My state room attendant always leaves the tip tip hooray envelope, and we leave them money. I either pre pay gratuities or have them charged to the room which seems like I'm double tipping. What do other people do?

Carnival,  Norwegian,  and now MSC will all have their newest ships in Galveston.  Just sayin...

Now MSC is bringing one of their newest ships to Galveston.  It makes me think an Icon ship will be there sooner rather than later.

On rechecking, it's actually the 737- max 9 which is different than the max 900. I think we're ok.

Has anyone had experience with United the last few days? We are scheduled to fly this Saturday on a Boeing 737-900 and it still says on time.

Has anyone taken Uber from Galveston to Bush airport recently on a Sunday morning and taken Uber? We will do self assist.  Was it difficult or did it take long to get an Uber, what was the cost, and how long was the trip?

Hopefully  you got 4 points per dollar on your final balance since you get 2 for 1 points on RC purchases. 

You're probably right but the logic totally escapes me.

Right now there is a promotion to get 4 points for every dollar spent on RC purchases. The fine print says it doesn't apply to onboard purchases.  Does anyone know if that would also apply to Next Cruise bookings made onboard. Kind of complicated but I don't even know who to ask.
