lanyard recommendations for sea pass card
CFL replied to markm's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
Is this the lanyards you ordered? Looks like they come in different colors too! https://www.amazon.com/ELV-Leather-Blocking-Lanyard-Offices/dp/B079L4DYLD/ref=sr_1_3?crid=1HMID3XUH0T04&keywords=rfid+lanyard+card+holder&qid=1560869412&s=gateway&sprefix=rfid+lanyard%2Caps%2C146&sr=8-3 -
For the soda package, everybody else in the cabin does not need to have it. I believe that rule only applies to the alcohol package where everyone in your cabin over age 21 needs to purchase it too.

My cruise is also showing inflated prices, but what's weird is it will be super high one day (about double in price), and then the next day it will be back down again. ?
-
Ah ok, thank you so much!

Will this fit in the European outlet or do I need the round kind of adapter like in @twangster post?

Same here in my family!! I'm the (over) planner and I just let them know the dates and where we are going.

23rd wedding Anniversary while on Anthem cruise question
CFL replied to JRA's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
Etsy is an online shop for handmade and other type items. Here are sample pictures and links for the pillow cases and magnet. I ordered the magnet for my parents 50th anniversary last month and it was really nice! The magnet can be customized for anniversary, birthday or honeymoon. https://www.etsy.com/listing/597663291/personalized-romantic-pillowcases?ref=user_profile&frs=1 https://www.etsy.com/listing/587900353/cruise-line-door-magnet-anniversary?show_sold_out_detail=1&bes=1 -
23rd wedding Anniversary while on Anthem cruise question
CFL replied to JRA's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
We're celebrating our 20th anniversary on our February cruise and I'm ordering a personalized cruise magnet and a personalized set of pillow cases from etsy for our cabin. I figured we can keep the magnet on our fridge at home after the cruise and we can keep on using the pillow cases too. -

I'm enjoying reading about your trip so far! The tumblers, shirts and totes are so cool! ? -
We stayed at the Best Western Plus Oceanside Inn on Seabreeze Blvd. It was very reasonably priced, breakfast was included and it was great to take a walk on the beach both in the evening and before heading to the port in the morning. ?️ About a 10 minute walk up Seabreeze Blvd, there were restaurants and shops.

Why Is My Cruise Planner Dining Open So Early?
CFL replied to FManke's topic in Royal Caribbean Dining
Jamie's reservations opened up for my Mariner November 2020 cruise, but nothing for my Harmony February 2020 cruise yet. Weird! -
I use these, they have a little more rubber sole than regular water socks and super easy to get on and off... https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07DNYJ2WJ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1&psc=1

Is CocoCay smoke free or are there designated smoking areas?

Another vote for Best Western Plus Oceanside Inn on Seabreeze Blvd. Very reasonably priced, breakfast included and it was great to take a walk on the beach both in the evening and before heading to the port in the morning.

SeaPass cards in the room & the Key question
CFL replied to CFL's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
Thank you for the details.... I was wondering how that all worked! -
We were getting dressed for formal night when my husband realized he brought everything except his dress shirt!
-
I'm sure this is a dumb question.... but here goes..... for ships that don't give you a SeaPass at check-in and they are waiting in your room for you, how do you get in the room? Are the doors left open? And if the doors are left open that brings me to another question. If you have the Key and took advantage of the carry-on luggage drop off, I understand they leave it in the closet but is it safe if your cabin door is left open? ?

St. Maarten and St. Thomas next week....nothing excites us...any ideas?
CFL replied to goblues38's topic in Shore Excursions
This picture is great, looks like paradise! ?️ This is exactly the type of beach experience we are looking for since it will be an anniversary cruise! Were they any insects like mosquitoes or anything like that where we would need insect repellant? -

Your pictures are awesome! I had been looking into Pinel Island and I think I may go for it ? -
Nothing to add.... just wanted to say hello to a "neighbor" ? I see you're from Oviedo... I'm from Chuluota

I'm so glad you asked this question, I was wondering the same thing!

We were on the Majesty cruise to Havana last November and had our family of 3 in an Ocean View Room. This picture shows the bed setup. It was a tight fight with 2 adults and a teenaged son! We lifted the bed and slid the empty luggage underneath for storage. There is also a little space on the right side of the bed to put some bags on the floor as well. Our cruise was 5 days so it was manageable.... any longer and we probably would have went with a bigger cabin. ?

We were on the Majesty for the Havana overnight cruise during Thanksgiving week in November 2018. We took the RCCL sponsored tour called "Old Havana City Sightseeing" at 8:50am. It was a bus tour that took us to Morro Castle, the Christ statue, Revolution plaza, Colon cemetery, and Almacenes San Jose marketplace. After the tour we went back to the ship for lunch in the dining room. After lunch, we relaxed for a bit on the ship and headed back out to Havana during the late afternoon/early evening. On our own we walked around on Calle Mercarderas and Calle Obispo streets. We explored Plaza San Francisco (which is directly across the street from the cruise terminal), Plaza Vieja, Plaza de la Catedral, and Plaza de Armas. Right across the street from Plaza de Armas, was a fort called Castillo de la Real Fuerza. We walked back to the ship in the evening. During our whole time we felt completely safe! There were military and police all around the tourist areas and we didn't ever feel in danger or see any pickpockets. Hopefully this info helps you out a bit! Also, it was super easy to get on and off the ship and go through customs. The first time going through they took the visa, but after that we just had to show our passport page that they had previously stamped the first time we went through.
