  1. We used the “stay a while” yesterday, it’s was a great addition we made our way to the solarium at around 9am made ourselves comfortable and at around 10am we were asked to go to deck 17 forward for about 30 mins so they could do whatever they do, after that we stayed in the solarium eat at the solarium cafe and then made our way to deck 5 cafe for a quick bite and drink before we disembarked at 3pm our cases were waiting in the baggage terminal..

we were given a wristband to wear which was in the cabin night before we left.

My family and I are headed to Mariner of the Seas next Monday. I am flying into Orlando a few days before but my family lives locally in Orlando. I am wondering what is the best way to get to Port Canaveral for a party of 8?

We hired 8:seater from Alamo at Orlando airport and dropped of at their port branch just minutes away from ship and they have a free shuttle bus to ship,

So finally the RC UK site has the free all inclusive drinks package as part of their deal, this is where i finally find out the best deal available.

Now when i started this thread back in march the costs were as follows

UK Oceanview Balcony  £2,356.78 + free Wifi

    US Oceanview Balcony : £2036.50 + $50 obc ( RC ) + $50 obc ( MEI Travel ) THIS WAS BOOKED ?

The cost of drinks package to purchase is round about £700 for my wife and myself, so total for cruise with purchased drinks pack will be between £2700 - £2800 for the cruise.

Various sales BOGO etc on both UK and USA sites have to date been more expensive, thank you to Sharla from MEI Travel for constantly checking USA site sales and letting me know my original booking was still the best.

On checking RC UK site today much to my DELIGHT the total cost for same cruise, same balcony stateroom, free drinks package and prepaid gratuities is............................£3,743.82

Throw in the $100 OBC i received and i'm roughly £1000 better off having booked when sailings first became available.

The balcony stateroom room on same deck ( forward ) is £1789pp now compared to just over £1100 pp when booked.

And the best part is because booking was made through Blog Sponsor MEI TRAVEL they will still check price when deals appear ?

Prices have increased in that time, we booked the Allure November TA 2020 with free drinks, booked in January £1050pp today it’s £1900pp price comparison needed to be same day really...but still a great savings like us, rule is book early for the best deal..?

I have a question about accessable rooms... I was in a bad car accident and have been using a wheelchair for almost a year exclusively, up until the last few months. We booked an accessable room for our cruise this November, as it was expected that I would need it. I am still using the chair most of the time, but my physical therapy is going better than anyone expected it would.

I know how limited these rooms are and honestly I have lost sleep over the fact that there's a chance I *may* not actually need the chair when we go. I looked up the RC policy and it says they're quite strict and that we could be kicked out of the room into nother one if it's found neither of us need an accessable room. The thing is, I did when we booked the cruise and I very well might need it.... I'm just so nervous. I should be happy that I'm regaining the ability to walk on my own, but all I can think about is RC police coming and kicking us out of the room. Also, I don't want to take it away from someone who needs it. The thing is I won't know until much closer to the cruise. Should I call them and let them know the situation?

Don’t risk it, take a wheelchair with you, theres lots of walking so you might need it at some point, yes the cabins are limited but lots of able bodied people have now started to book them cause they offer more room and knowing RCI will not check up on them so if you do give it up it might not go to a genuine disabled person.

The prices for Royal Caribbean Compared to the many other cruise lines out of Southampton are ridiculous. When they were released the message boards on facebook and such like were all disgusted with the pricing structure compared to the US. I get that US will be cheaper due to many many more ships but the UK pricing is awful IMO.

That's why I choose to fly elsewhere and cruise

We don’t use Southampton anymore, prefer to fly Barcelona or Florida..?

It business.  All businesses that operate globally with a presence in the UK are facing repercussions from Brexit, travel operators included.

Faced with uncertainty people are holding on to their money and not booking vacations in the same manner they have previously.

I don’t see any uncertainty whatsoever in the UK we are thriving ?
