Caribbean Islands Opening
Andrew72681 replied to Mrs. Thomas's topic in Royal Caribbean News and Rumors
As someone who normally spends half the year in them I am always well aware of how hotels are “cleaned” and have learned to suspend my normal beliefs in order to stay sane. -
What will the Casinos look like?

Never played face up pai gow, but regular pai gow is a good way to lose money 25 cents at a time. Having those quarters at the end of the day always drives me nuts. What does the commission look like in Faceup? -

I wonder if its EU consumer protection rules that are giving the other guy the option to not lose the deposit. -

We got lucky, when we booked the spa balcony it was actually priced cheaper than connecting oceanview balcony rooms. So we lucked into what became a standard oceanview balcony at a savings of almost 1000. -

at least he isn't losing the deposit as they said @twangster would. -
Requiring a Doctor's letter
Andrew72681 replied to NEbluebird's topic in Royal Caribbean News and Rumors
Now one thing I was thinking about is that there's a population of people they already have information on, those who have used special services in the past. So while they won't require one from everyone over 70, I could see a situation where they reach out or limit those who they know aren't 100% healthy from voluntary information provided before. -
Odyssey Cruises in 2020, Or Maybe Another Ship?
Andrew72681 replied to twangster's topic in Royal Caribbean News and Rumors
You could also book the 8 day in March on Odyssey. Would be fun to stare at every person that walks by and say to myself "is that the mysterious twangster?" Great Itinerary, Aruba, Grand Cayman, Cozumel -
I'd more assume that the systems don't talk to each other.

I'd run if I were you. November 1st out of the med seems like it's slipping away by the day and you seem to be one of the lucky ones who can get a refund, even if it will take months. -

That's just crazy. Who in their right mind would think when mapping room type to room type that it was in anyway the same -

This clearly looks like a cash grab as otherwise they wouldn’t be able to sell rooms on Liberty as quickly as they would have sold on Allure. If we figure 2,000 less people per sailing at an average of 1,000 per person it’s 2 million less a week in revenue just for cruise fare. I don’t comprehend why they didn’t offer these people the ability to keep their room on Allure out of Florida. -
I bet lots of people wish they didn’t have to remove all those sailings ?

Oh man, can you imagine being uninformed of what the differences really are and showing up to find a ship not nearly as well appointed. I sometimes forget normal people don’t read this blog and watch YouTube ship tours. -

Even the airlines who are famous for doing the wrong thing will let you cancel when downgauging happens. -

It’s been a hot garbage fire especially for suites. There was a person who was in a 2 bedroom Aquatheater suite and they told her the only option was to move to a Junior Suite on Liberty. No compensation at all for the lost inclusions (dining, beverage, etc) -

Now if you really want a challenge bounce back and forth between the wipeout bar and Bolero’s using stairs only. That way by the time you’ve walked those 11 flights of stairs and all the way aft or forward you’ve already worked off that drink. -
Allure Port Everglades or Port Canaveral?
Andrew72681 replied to AnyShip4Me's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
Having just announced the relocation they haven’t yet posted any itineraries for her time in Port Everglades. -
Even if you go with that method of just measuring the core you get the exact same phenomenon with Manhattan. That 27k per square mile includes the further out reaches of Queens, Brooklyn, the Bronx, and Staten Island. The population density of Manahattan (1.2M people in 22.82 sq mi) is 74k. 12.3x of Auckland.

The 50$ table. At that table the player is paying attention and not slowing down everything explaining why they don’t hit a 14 against a dealer face card. -
Rather than paying 45 on Izumi, definitely buy the UDP at 119. Izumi has been included for the last few months. It’ll include most of what you are used to with a choice of appetizer, just without any of the open flame stuff you are used to.

Specific Check-in times
Andrew72681 replied to soonerconvert74's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
And also from about day 80 before sailing on Oasis class ship start checking the entertainment tab in case those get released early. -
It’s the first time I’ve ever noticed this in the cruise planner, so I’m assuming no one has done it before, but figured I’d check as my daughter loves Dia De Los Muertos. Our original plan was the fly to Medina this October but other trips came up.

Yes, but remember with cruise planner purchases you can buy now and if they go down you can rebook. currently for my cruises for this year I’m seeing, 49.00, 49.00, and 44.00
