  1. I don't think it's too far off. My chocolate chip cookie recipe calls for 380g flour (about 3 cups), 227 g butter (2 sticks), and 347g sugar (a little less than 2 cups split between granulated and brown sugar). It makes about 20 3" cookies. The 6 eggs seems like a lot, but I would try the recipe as it's written before making changes.
  2. What about looking into upgrading your cabin? You can't reprice, but you can see if suites are available and covered under what you have already paid.
  3. Yay! I hope your other "symptoms" like your nausea have gone away with the good news too.
  4. $34 is for the refreshment package I believe, not the UBP since the OP is talking about a July 2021cruise. $34 for a UBP would be amazing though!
  5. The current "sale" is only for cruises from Sept-Dec 2020. You'll probably see a "sale" for the month of your cruise around 5-8 months before the sail date. However, I keep putting sale in quotes because the regular/full price are not fixed and can change dramatically outside of a posted sale. I have seen better than sale prices when a sale isn't even going on. I wouldn't book the drink pkg yet, but I do start tracking them this far out (once a week or so). When the price drops to a level you are comfortable with, buy it. Keep tracking prices after that though because as the other posters said, you can cancel and repurchase.
  6. Did anyone else notice that the cabana itself is on monster truck wheels? Is that to get it on the beach, or is she road ready?
  7. 78 days since we got off Enchantment. (Costa Maya, Cozumel) 25 days until our cancelled Enchantment (just DH and me to Cozumel ?) 185 days until Liberty (Grand Cayman, Jamaica, Cozumel) 269 days until Jewel (CocoCay, Nassau, Key West)
  8. That's all I saw about it - I didn't get to the payment page. I would assume if you book online through a 3rd party like Costco or Expedia, that their payment process screen would be different because they deal with more than one line.
  9. I'm sure there have been a lot of complaints about Saturday Night Fever on Liberty too. I wonder if it will be the next to go?
  10. I was checking prices this morning, and it looks like you can apply your FCC at checkout on the website. I don't have my FCC yet, so I didn't go beyond just seeing this. Not sure if this is the norm with FCCs or if you had to call in to apply them in the past.
  11. But how would you social distance in a tiny theater? ?
  12. The new terminal is closer to Seawolf Park, but that's a great question. @Galveston Steve posted these maps on another thread. It looks like the new terminal will be right where the channel starts to open up, so they may have enough room to leave it open to some traffic. I'm not sure how much they'll need to dig out. According to the Port of Galveston's website, they dredge it annually to maintain a 45 foot depth. https://www.portofgalveston.com/CivicAlerts.aspx?AID=99 Hopefully they if they need to go deeper it could be done during that planned operation.
  13. I'm not sure how they could do this without shutting down the whole channel. It's a relatively narrow waterway that's not directly open to the ocean, so the equipment may block all marine traffic through there to deepen the area.
  14. It doesn't. My husband brought up a good point when we were talking about this. A lot of people can't just look at a map and know where to go. I'm one of them - the kinesthetic learner in me has to physically go there to know where something is. Maybe emuster would be some sort of digital check in at the muster station that has to be completed by day one. Two or three stations (for outside stations anyway) could be manned by one or two crew members. This way you could go for a couple minutes when convenient and not everyone would be packed in like sardines for 30 minutes.
  15. I'm missing where they say they will deny boarding due to a chronic illness. The only part I see about being denied boarding is this. Where in the link should I look?
  16. It's an interesting thought, but wouldn't people just bunch up in the off site terminal? I'm trying to visualize how this would work.
  17. Do you know what the waterpark cabanas are running?
  18. I got my deep water certification at a quarry they converted to a scuba lake in east Texas. They have a couple replica mines, in addition to a lot of sunken vehicles and sculptures. Great for compass skills.
  19. Yes, there is a bar code on the set sail pass (or on the digital one on your phone if you checked in with the app). They scan that instead of the card. Had a Mai Tai in my hand within minutes of boarding Enchantment in February!?
  20. Banned is a strong word. They changed boarding policies a lot every few days when this disaster was initially unfolding. I don't think anyone knows for certain what the new boarding criteria / policies will be yet. They certainly haven't been announced. IMO, I could see that they could require a note from your doctor stating that the asthma is controlled (such as with the use of inhaler), but I doubt they will ban anyone with asthma from getting onboard. They wouldn't even know if the passenger didn't disclose.
  21. No, the alcohol package does not require a refreshment package for a minor. We've bought our alcohol packages on one sale and waited for the next sale to buy the kids drink packages. However, if one person gets the alcohol package, all adults in the cabin must purchase it. If you call you may be able to get an exemption to that, but they make the second adult buy the refreshment package instead.
  22. Wow! It auto selected both adults when I cancelled and repurchased. We both wanted it, so I didn't even think of trying to unselect one of us. I know a lot of people will be happy if that option sticks around!
  23. The Deluxe Beverage Package on my November Liberty sailing has been tracking between $51 and 55 recently. This evening it dropped to $41. DBP + internet is $49. Refreshment is $19. Digital Photo Pkg is $119.99. With the exception of the photo package, which is the same as Black Friday pricing, these are the lowest prices I've seen in some time. All the prices for my January cruise are the same high price they have been though.
  24. It was extended on the last round of cancellations. My TA sent me an email with the link to the form that has to be completed by May 4.
